Been there twice just because of convenience to my house. Horrible experience both times. Open refrigerated section hasn't worked. The cashier tried to charge me for using a card. Didn't matter if I used my credit or debit. The price of the bottle I was planning on getting, a flavored moonshine, rang up higher than any of the other flavors of the same brand by about $8 dollars. You simply can't trust the place with how unprofessional they are and the deal was shady. Went to another liquor store down at 725 & Lyons Rd and found that all the flavors were priced the same as I had already assumed and was a much more professional and clean atmosphere with better selections. As for the whole backlash against having to pay cash for liquor, all I can say is that a little pre-planning never hurt anyone. Besides, if it saves them money not to take credit cards for liquor purchases, the savings for small business are usually passed on to the customer. It could very well be that this policy exists to avoid selling liquor to people who try to use their foodstamp cards to purchase hard liquor...
