If I could leave negative stars, I would. I ordered a medium cheese pizza and a side of wings at 6:00pm for curbside. I was given an order completion time of 6:35. At 6:40 i walked inside to check on our food and get an updated time, as I had my two young daughters (3 and 1) with me. I paid for my order with my card and it had been submitted/deducted. On the tv above the counter, my name was first. There were 4-5 people beneath me who all began to receive their orders, bigger, much more complex order I will add. I continued to wait, while not one single person from behind the counter acknowledged me. By 7:02, i spoke up and asked when my order would be ready. By this time, everyone after me got their food and left and an additional 3 people had come in and gotten theirs. The worker, Tammy, finally responded to/acknowledged me and said “Oh i didnt even start yours yet.” I sat in silence for a few moments and decided to leave, as i had to get my two young children home and find something else to feed them. I leave and call the store, i ask for a manager and am placed on hold. I call back and am told they can deliver it. Then i get put back on hold for another 7-10 minutes. Hang up and call back, now Tammy is on the phone and she tells me to come in and get my food, and hangs up on me. I call back and immediately Tammy answers and slams the phone down and hangs up on me again. I call back and they send my call to voicemail. I then leave my home, to go back and get the food as she told me i had to. I walk in, visibly crying at this point, and ask for my food. Tammy and the “manager” katie, both come to the counter and tammy begins saying “we have to remake it your food is gone” and begins slamming utensils around and is past the point of being rude and is completely out of line as a professional at this point, i tell her to remake it & i will wait. I had corporate on the phone with me and they asked to stay on the line while i waited. Tammy continues to state “we have to remake it” i say again, “remake it, i will wait.” I then tell her “why stand here and argue with me? You told me to come back and get it and i said i will wait while its remade, i dont understand why you are continuing to pick a fight. I will wait”. She then tells a young employee, who was clearly training/new to call the police. He does as he is told. I wait in the lobby, witnessing both katie and tammy making other orders, with no gloves, wiping their faces, noses, etc, and am not sure that i want the food at this point. But I say nothing because no one is even starting my food. By this time, its been two hours. The police arrive and i leave with no food, no money returned. Because at that point, it was clear i was not getting my food. Or my money. And with the lack of sanitation and preparation, i was sickened in every way. The new employee comes outside as im leaving and apologizes profusely for their behavior as I left in tears. After a 13 hour work day, trying to feed my children, i can say i have never been treated so poorly, so disrespected and so completely hurt by an establishment in my life. Tammy and Katie not only ruined our dinner, but our evening and our faith in people. After I returned back home, without my money and food, another employee from this location called me and apologized for her manager and fellow employee.
Not only were my children and I treated with such disgust and disrespect, but West Carrollton PD were completely incompetent, careless...
Read moreI bought two large pizzas and whatever I received was clearly not being well kept or something as myself and everyone else who ate the pizza were met with fever, body aches and the shits 4-6 hours after having consumed it. One of my friends was so bad he went to the ER and was told it was a stomach virus from something he ate within the past few hours which only left Pizza Hut as the option. I myself was skeptical and figured perhaps it was the chicken I had much much earlier in the day, it was not. I reheated some of the leftovers (which I had packed up into a container and tossed in the fridge not long after consuming it the day prior), and proceeded to go through the exact same problem as the night before a few hours later. I then proceeded to toss out the remaining pizza.
The drive from my home to this location is only around 6-7 minutes so I know it’s not due to that. All I know is i will be venturing further away if I ever decide to get Pizza Hut again as I can’t bring myself to buy from this location again after that experience.
— Edit : I was reached out to by the area manager. He was very friendly and wanted to ensure my family and friends were doing okay and make good on my poor experience. All I can say is if he’s in charge of the surrounding Dayton area he does a good job on ensuring customer satisfaction. I was promptly given a refund and sent some certificates to make good on my issue. I must say even if my experience made me think the food was poor, I must adjust the overall review as the service / prompt response provided by the area...
Read moreI can definitely find far better pizza, and customer service. I showed up to pick up my pizza and was not acknowledged for 10 minutes. My pizza said it was ready, and they continued to cut pizzas. Yet they couldn't ring out pizzas. So it seems like getting the cart in front of the horse making more pizzas that you can't sell. Maybe you should be working on calling your help desk and getting your computers back online, maybe? It's also in bad taste to threaten your customers after waiting and wasting their time. And the amount of time I waited I could have had replacement food and been home. So yes I was not happy. If your employees and your manager cannot handle communications about the matter. Maybe they should find a job where they cannot have people arrested, who have a hungry family waiting at home. ONLY IN WEST CARROLLTON BUSINESSES, DO I FIND THIS SORT OF BACKWARD WAY OF LOSING CUSTOMERS. I wish I could say there is a business that I like in the West Carrollton or Moraine borders. I don't know what the issue is exactly. But it's sincerely about the quality of people they...
