This market has been a part of hometown life in West Frankfort for many, many years. Their produce & meat are of the highest quality. They still believe in helping their customers and will take your groceries to your car for you. Wonderful, good people. Proud to be their customer for many years. The deli/meat counter is always clean & well organized. And the butchers are always kind & very helpful. LOVE THIS MARKET!! Update: still AWESOME! They go out of their way to take care of their customers. We wanted to special order short ribs & they got some beautiful ones for us. We are simply blessed, here in WF, to have them! Their customer service just keeps getting better and better! I love this place! I went to FCHS with some of the staff. We've been home for almost 10 years now & we order our Thanksgiving turkey from McCords & our prime rib roast for Christmas...

Don McCord started this grocery store many years ago and he still owns it today. He has employees that's been working for him many of years and They're very nice people. Richard Neibchs Jr. Is over the deli department at McCords market. I've known Richard for many of years and he's a very good person. Richard Neibchs has worked for Mr.McCord for years and he is over the deli department which he runs very well. McCords market has the best deli in town and if it wasn't for Richard Neibchs thie deli wouldn't be as good as it is. If you want the best fresh lunch meat ( Cold Cuts ) In town Mccords market is the place to go and if it wasn't for Richard Neibchs,Jr they wouldn't have a deli as...

One lady that works up front is so friendly I wish I knew her name to recognize her. But the service from a guy in the deli was absolutely awful one time. Another bad experience today with a young kid at the register. No manners or customer service skills. I said thank you and he rolled his eyes and didn't say have a great day. Maybe you shouldn't work up front. I like to support local businesses but people like this working I will...
