Ollie's Bargain Outlet — Local services in West Frankfort

This was my first trip to an Ollie's. Pricing is the driving reason to shop here. The general merchandising throughout the store was relatively poor. Categories were easy to shop once found due to items being priced directly. Not all of the departments were in total disarray, but this was subjective to what section you were in. When I was in line to check out a free cashier pulled me from the line that I was in to ring me up. As I was handing the cashier my items another employee told them to send me back to the other line. I had to load my cart back up and get back into the line that I was originally waiting in. I then waited in the original line while 2 other employees were standing close by the cashier conversing. I wouldn't have minded the initial wait, but having been moved back and forth was...

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I was looking for a window air and asked the guy if they had any he took me right over to where they were. I told him what price I wanted to pay and how many btu. He found one that was great price for me. He took it up on the roller to counter for me and waited. The other guy at the cash register insisted for me to look in my email to see a discount. I wasn't going to, but he told me to look anyways. I could get 30% off. So I did, and sure enough, I had coupons in my email. He tried to scan the coupon for me, but they were all expired. So he took it upon himself to give me him own coupon for 20% off. After I was done getting rung up and paid, the guy with the air conditioner rolled it out to my car and put it in for me....

They do not treat their employees equally they give hours to people that haven’t been there as long as the store has been open I know of at least two employees there that would only get five hours a week or not even be on the schedule one of these people do not work there anymore and got a better job where they are fair to all the employees. No employee gets more than the other. So so I think the owner of Ollie’s should be notified by somebody how unfair they treat...
