Several years ago while shopping with my then girlfriend, in Mount Dora l bought 2 antique window panes that came from a church that had been torn down. My vision at the time was that these old tattered windowpanes would make great picture frames. Although they lay dormant in my closet for many years, in the back of my mind l always knew that with the right assistance, creativity and workmanship, I could turn these otherwise distressed windowpanes into something truly unique. That something special only needed some great content, which I received after marrying my wife three years ago. The photographs were amazing and captured the joy and love of our day.
To bring my dream into a reality, I needed to make sure I selected an expert in photography and design. After considerable research, I knew that the Giclee method was the preferred printing process, but methodology alone was not enough for me. I was resigned that I would need to send my high-resolution files and frames to Canada for processing to a company that had the expertise that I needed (at least that’s what the voice on the other end of the phone said). However, shipping to Canada and working remotely weighed on me, so I continued my search throughout the state of Florida until I stumbled across Chromozone. I called and spoke to Angela. She seemed kind, patient and prideful in what she and her husband Brian were able to do for me. I was impressed with our first interaction and could sense something very authentic about this woman. What I discovered in meeting them was a no-nonsense, practical and extremely talented team. Angela and Brian took on my project of printing two black and white and one color print. The care and attention to detail was magnificent. They suggested creative layouts and finishes for the prints and took meticulous care of the frames when disassembling and reassembling them, including adding reinforcement brackets to the older panes to ensure they were stable and adding strong wires for hanging. To say they exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. There business is a reminder to the days when people took pride in their work. A throwback of sorts, a time forgotten when money mattered but what mattered more was the pride and quality of their work. We highly recommend Angela and Brain for any of your printing needs.

Read moreWow!!! Did I say Wow!!!. When a loved one passes a proper memorial would not be complete without photo’s. The staff of ChromaZone Ink was very helpful and exuded confidence that our photo of Mom would be handled professionally and timely. The photo we supplied was 60 years old yet the colors came out great, just like to original. There were imperfections in the image that were removed, too. We were speechless by not only the quality of the canvas but the packaging and delivery speed. The packaging was definitely designed to get the set of 8 portraits delivered on time and intact without damage. Thanks’ you guys for making this purchase easy and stress free. You are our “GO TO” photo folks going forward!!!! Keep up the GREAT...
Read moreI had moved to the area several months ago and wanted to find a local printer to make canvas prints for my artwork.
Their website is set up nicely for making the order process straightforward. I’m frequently making art with different aspect ratios, so it’s very helpful to have flexibility in selecting specific canvas sizes. (A lot of the retail chains limit you to certain preset sizes). So you upload, get your preview and order summary and a confirmation email - all good.
Quick note that local pickup is by appointment, so just bear that in mind for planning purposes.
Got my painting back, and everything was good quality, nice solid frame bars and a tidy backing sheet / dust cover. Will definitely look to them for local canvas...
