Bought a freightliner antenna mount, antenna, and coax. They said you HAD to use an antenna with a ground wire (grounded to antenna mount...the exact same place an antenna without a ground strap grounds itself) Also said I HAD to get 18 feet of coax if I was installing coax behind the overhead bins to the radio. I fell for it, and it was bs. Antenna was bad (wilson top load with ground strap). After a week, had another shop (a motorola dealer i know) check swr and was getting 8. Replaced with a cheap francis, down to 2. Coax also bad. Replaced with 9 foot of coax, swr down to 1.1. If a cb shop cant make coax without screwing it up, no way they are gonna ever work on my connex. Thanks for screwing me out...

Very disappointed, this could of burned up a very expensive radio. Have been here before and thought they were a stand up shop but apparently properly setting my antenna was too much when he could make an easy $10 lying about the swr. Just make sure you look at their meter and DON'T TAKE THE...
