Never eat here if from out of town!!! If I could give 5 NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!! My husband and I were on a trip from Utah to Knoxville in an RV. We had been on the road for the 4th day. We pulled into West Memphis to get gas and saw the KFC/Taco Bell on MLK Blvd. It wasn’t busy so we saw it as a good option. Our RV wouldn’t fit in the drive through so we had to go in. We walked in and the woman at the register LITERALLY GLARED AND ROLLED HER EYES AT US!! She made iT extremely CLEAR that she did not want us in the store. In hindsight we should have left, but we were exhausted and hungry and were taking it away so whatever. He ordered Mexican pizza and a drink, and I ordered 5 pc tenders with potatoes and cole slaw. While putting the lid on his cup, my husband spilled his full drink all over a booth and floor. (He has a hand injury that affects his nerves and when tired it can be worse at times). We were very sorry and of course embarrassed. But worse, we felt dread to tell them because the women were so HORRIBLY RUDE to begin with, we knew they would not be understanding. The chicken came first so my husband had me go to the van, and then he came out. He said he apologized but they weren’t happy. I opened my food and I had 4 small pieces of dried chicken, my sides were partially full, and the biscuit was a small hockey puck! I took the chicken back inside and ask for a new box with 5 proper pieces. She glared at me knowing how she served me bad food and ripping me off cost wise. She grabbed the box, literally threw it on the work station, and said the to kitchen “this nasty people!” My jaw dropped!! She did that! She grabbed a mop and went out to the dining room. She began cussing and mopping. I told her she was inappropriate and we apologized! She insisted my husband spilled ON PURPOSE!! I got the store number. The cashier with her fake hair, lashes and nails was named “Bree” and Bree needs to work somewhere else!! She was yelling at me as she was mopping and there were people in the store!! KFC is known for its country charm, but Bree turned my experience into a ratchet slummy disgusting experience, it was clearly THE HOOD!! . I will never not only EVER stop at THAT KFC again but I’ll avoid that entire town!! When I called to get the manager’s number the other store answered and said they had heard bad rumors about that location. So “Bree” has been allowed to act like this crazy sh!t to paying weary travelers for quite a while! This speaks VOLUMES about their whole franchise! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BEWARE OF BREE AND HER ROTTON LITTLE SIDE KICK! Bad employees! BAD EXPERIENCE! Thumbs...

During my recent visit, it was evident that the staff on the front lines were doing everything in their power to maintain service under considerable strain. A younger woman was working both the front counter and the drive-thru simultaneously, while an elderly cook managed the kitchen. Despite being clearly overwhelmed, both employees exhibited remarkable professionalism, composure, and dedication to their duties.
Unfortunately, their efforts were noticeably undermined by a lack of leadership and support from management. A male employee and the on-duty manager—identifiable by her distinctive red wig—remained largely disengaged throughout the evening. The young man made occasional, seemingly purposeless visits to the kitchen, providing no tangible assistance. More concerningly, after a customer reasonably voiced frustration over delays, the manager responded not by supporting her team, but by retreating to the kitchen area, reclining, and preoccupying herself with her phone.
The elderly cook, despite visibly struggling with mobility, continued to work tirelessly, and the young woman at the front maintained a calm and courteous demeanor under pressure. It is no exaggeration to say that these two individuals were solely responsible for keeping the operation afloat during my visit.
This establishment has serious management deficiencies that urgently need to be addressed. Leadership's lack of engagement not only compromises service quality but places unfair strain on the dedicated employees who genuinely care about the customer experience. If this reflects the store’s daily operations, it would be in the best interest of the overseeing corporate entity to intervene promptly.
With proper management, the commitment and work ethic already present among the frontline staff could be transformed into a truly excellent dining experience. Without it, however, the restaurant risks losing both valuable employees and...
Read moreDid not answer drive thru until I said hello? Ordered classic chicken sandwich and unsweetened tea. They didn't get my order right for a few minutes. I drive around and the say $7.14. I'm getting my money. One girl says credit card, credit card. I said you don't take cash? She says no just credit card. I was afraid to give the credit card then cuz I thought it was a scam. There's a girl by the cash register and says okay cash and I give her my money and she slams the window shut. She gets my change, hands it to me and then I wait for my food. I realize they're counting the cash drawer down. That's why they didn't want me to pay cash and I messed them up because it had already being started. So whatever. I get my chicken sandwich then the girl says what was your drink again. So I told her I got my drink and drove off. Then I open my chicken sandwich top of my bun was black black and the bottom of my bun was black. I've got the oldest piece of chicken you could ever have on a sandwich. This thing had been sitting for a while and I took a bite and all I got was seasoning and a dry taste. I did not even drink the tea it had funky taste to it. One thing, I did notice when I was at the drive-thru window how dirty the metal equipment was where they put the chicken when I saw that I thought oh Lord I'm in the wrong place. I will never ever ever go back to this place. It...
