GameStop — Local services in West Memphis

Specifically, this Gamestop is AMAZING!!! Before 2024, I always tried to avoid game stores because they always were disorganized, the employees were not very caring, the prices didn't match the service offered, and so much more. These old careless stores would especially become inconvenient when I had hip replacements. In May of 2024, I was shopping online and bought a GameStop Pro membership since I knew I had surgeries coming up. The membership would not show up on my account and I didn't receive a confirmation email, but my bank confirmed it. I called online support and they told me to go to my nearest store, which was a huge problem for me since I had just had a hip replaced. THANKFULLY the manager, Sarah, was there and fixed my problem ASAP. Even though it was all online related she knew exactly what to do. She was knowledgeable, she showed she clearly cared about me AND her other customers, told me about future information/events, fixed my issue, and so much more!! I decided to come back a few times and Sarah and Miranda were consistently amazing, knocking it out of the park! Now my wife, niece, and I all have accounts there and come in regularly, almost weekly. Sarah and Miranda BOTH deserve a raise and/or promotion!! They have brought back our excitement to return to gaming stores. This should be a model for all locations that I have been to in the last 15 years. A few new women there are very rude and you can tell they know nothing about games because when you ask them a question they about genres, specs etc they instantly get frustrated and get an attitude. They told me they don’t sell Xbox one games (well not they a lady) and I literally went inside the store and found the game I was looking for I asked her why did she say they don’t sell Xbox games she said she must have been busy but there was no one in the store. When I went to this gamestop the worker ignored me. I was ready to check out at the check out line. The worker ignored me as i stood there and talked to another customer. As for trading in games here i don't recommend it. They give you less money back than the games actual worth. Try trading your games in another game store. I found game stores in Memphis that take in games and give back more amount of money the game is worth. Don't take your chances...
