Holly's Hallmark Shop — Local services in West Mifflin

Had a very negative experience here with an intractable staff member. My wife had a mobile coupon from Hallmark which sent her the coupon as a gift for customer appreciation. When she went to the register to pay for her item, the cashier told her she couldn’t use the coupon. It says on the coupon, “Valid at any Hallmark.” Huh? This IS a Hallmark store, right? However, the cashier said my wife would have to buy a Hallmark item marked with a crown. Well, the coupon doesn’t say that in the small print, so this Hallmark lost a sale this evening. Sadly, the cashier refused to take the coupon, and even became somewhat rude when we requested she explain why the coupon wouldn’t work. We won’t be back. It’s a shame since there are few Hallmarks left in the South Hills. They get a second star since the inside of the location is clean, cozy and homely in that classic...

Hmmm. What to say. I visited with a friend. It's a nice store, no doubt but Hallmark cards... So expensive. What was odd in this particular store is I felt like we were at a used car lot.
