DO NOT EVER GO HERE! Unless you are a crackhead, or you like filth, or you like rooms by the hour! Let me explain….. My husband and I were coming to town with our 8 month old! As you see from the pics the promised a crib was avail! Perfect! 👍🏾 in this order here is what went down… 1- Check in- Girl was totally drugged out! Rude and when I asked questions she said “cool” can I get the pack and play for my daughter? She replied “nah we don’t have em” showed her the snapshot of my check in showing they had them she said “nah” 2- Room- BRACE yourself! See pics! The room was left open w the door hinge, we didn’t know why at the but we later found out they turn tricks here!!! Our room was covered in filth! Chips on the floor , semen stains on the bed and fridge , pubes, toilet wasn’t flushed, and soap was used(SEE PICS not making this up!!!) 3-Door didn’t lock all u needed to do was slide a CC through and u could gain entry 4- IMMEDIATELY WE called Wyndham who actually didn’t do much other then tell us to wait 10 day! Turned in our keys and said we aren’t staying here! Left and saw 5 gentlemen and another meth head come in and fist bump the front desk girl and continued on… DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

I came in for the airport after a long flight, hopefully to get a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I had insects (ants) all over my counter and shower area. I began looking at other areas, including the bed, when i pulled back the sheets (GROSS). Found what looked like a sex stain. So much for cleaning the room. I researched the hotels in the area and was told all booked up for steeler game. I informed staff but was told they were booked. But they managed to exchange rooms. When I left the initial room was still fumigated. WORSE SLEEP EVER

Our toilet was clogged. We called the front desk and we're told that there was no one else working and the front desk would send up a plunger for me to unclog the toilet. I went downstairs and asked at the front desk for another room and was told the hotel was booked solid. This was a Wednesday evening. There were seven or eight cars in the parking lot and the hotel was not full. I said loudly that this is some BS. Obviously I was upset because it is not my problem that they are trying to save money by having a skeleton crew at night and what business really expects the customer to do their job? I refuse to plunge a toilet at a place that I am paying to stay at. 10 minutes later I was confronted by West Mifflin Police. Wow. I was informed that because I 'raised my voice' that I would have to leave. The young lady at the desk lied and told the police that I was 'in her face' yelling. Not true. Why would I escalate the problem if had been offered a solution? Before I left I was told that my credit card would be credited for the night. I left and found out 2 days later that I would NOT get my money back by the manager Ruth. While discussing this situation with Ruth, I was hung up on. It is unfortunate that racism still exists in this country and some people still think it is okay to treat others differently based on their skin color. There was absolutely no reason for me to not be offered another room. That would have eliminated the problem. Obviously this Wyndham does not value it's guests. The fact that I was kicked out instead of being offered another room is unfortunate. To be honest, it smacks of racism. I wouldn't expect someone who has never been treated unfairly because of their skin color to understand. Those of us who have, do. Obviously, Wyndham is one of those places who hires staff with antiquated ideas of fairness. I will never stay at another Wyndham property and I suggest that if you want fair treatment and a clean place to stay for the night find somewhere else to stay. Who kicks someone out of their property for complaining? Further, who keeps someone's money after removing them? Obviously collecting money is more important than making their guests happy. They didn't want me there, but kept my money. What does that say to you? Obviously I won't get my money back, but if this review stops even one person from being discriminated against by staying there it will have been worth it. Expecting a guest to plunge someone else's poop...

Let's spill the beans on our epic month-long stay at Wyngate by Wyndham in West Mifflin. So, picture this: my partner and I were in town for work, and our stay turned into a real-life adventure.

We swaggered up to the front desk, and this charming gentleman checked in my partner in a jiffy – he was faster than a rabbit on roller skates! When I finally rolled in, we realized our room had a little case of the "damp and drowsies." Yep, it was so humid that even the towels were doing their best impression of sponges. We suspected the AC was moonlighting as a sauna, but here's the twist - they had remembered our extra pillows request! Brownie points for that. We rang up the front desk, and they said, "No problemo!" and hooked us up with a drier room, phew!

The second room was as clean as a whistle, with a bed that looked like it just came out of a five-star laundry spa. Plus, they had this boss desk with outlets that even the most hardcore techies would salute. Need to whip up some snacks? There's a microwave and fridge. Only hiccup? The fridge was a rebel without a cause - no freezer. Say goodbye to ice cream dreams, but who needs it anyway, right?

Breakfast time! It wasn't a Michelin-star extravaganza, but it hit the spot. Scrambled eggs, mini cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, toast, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, milk, and yogurt – all lined up like a buffet squad ready for action.

When it came to fresh towels, it was like magic. A quick front desk dash, and voilà, fresh towels appeared like they had wings. And the checkout shuffle? We danced that routine a few times, but they were as cool as cucumbers about it.

But here's the real showstopper: Danielle, the night-shift superhero at the front desk. She was like the hotel's secret sauce – anything you needed, she had your back, and she did it all with a big ol' smile. Seriously, she deserves a gold medal. We were so impressed that we left her a little surprise on our way out.

If you're ever in the area and looking for a place to crash, this hotel's got the vibe. Just remember, not all hotels are Ritz Carltons, and these folks deliver a bang for your buck. The prices were fair and square, and we're already planning our...

I dodged a bullet! Reserved this hotel for two nights for a business trip threw a booking agency for December 7th & 8th 2022. Price was the cheapest $160 total. Upon my arrival December 7th night, parking lot was not well lite. Main entrance tile flooring was cracked and dirty. Walked in to the desk, first floor was poorly lit. Front desk person had a scarf on her head, tats all over her arms, skull head t-shirt…a hood rat. I was already uneasy. I told her I wanted to first inspect the room. She agreed. As we are walking to the elevator, the carpet was dirty and had lumps and bumps all over as if a flood had accord. We get to the room, the room was unlocked to her surprise, the bathroom lights and fan was on and the room stunk of cigarettes immediately I told her I didn’t reserve a smoking room. (This was suppose to be a non smoking hotel). She agreed and said she had another room. So we go to the next room. I go in and noticed a blue sofa that had a hole on the side and whites stains like milk or something. Immediately I had a bad gut feeling. Always listen to your gut feelings. So we both go back to the front desk. Told I would like to check out another hotel and I will call back if need be. I get in my car and drive up a mile to Hampton Inn by Hilton. Way way better…well lit everything. CLEAN! I had to pay an extra $130 ($260 total) to stay here because late evening, last minute check in deals ain’t happening.

Had I read the google reviews on Wingate by Wyndham West Mifflin, no way would I have even considered. Reviewers state bedbugs, cigarette smell etc. yuk. I can’t imagine how ruined my trip would had been with bedbugs and perchance bringing them things back home. Terrible thought!. I did ask the front desk lady who owned the hotel. She said Indians. GO FIGURE.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP unless you like bedbugs….have at it. NOT ME. NEVER AGAIN.

Taught me a lesson, READ THE REVIEWS…this only will give you clue but also call the hotel prior to booking and ask WHO...
