I always have a great experience at every Staples, and your staff at the Pottstown location are exceptional. I work for a small nonprofit startup, and we needed to fill a program role urgently. I literally made a last-minute laptop purchase on the way to onboarding a staff member, as a work laptop for this staff member. I found exactly what we needed on the Staples website, which was a solid laptop at a decent price. I scheduled a pickup about an hour before I headed to the store, and my order was fulfilled and ready for me in minutes. When I got to the store, I had fifteen minutes to make an appointment about five minutes from the store. I was assisted by two staff members who were so kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I was in and out in less than five minutes and on time for my appointment. Our new staff member loved their laptop, too. I loved the store layout, it is a lovely store, the location is fantastic, and I saw so many things I wanted to purchase for our office and our staff, and I look forward to coming back to shop in the coming days and weeks. This team is the star of the store, and they should be so proud for being so exceptional. Even though this particular visit was brief, this store is a favorite not just because I am a fan of the Staples brand, but because this team is really, really outstanding. While I found what I was looking for because I have been to this location before, I was disappointed that: (1.) I was not offered assistance from an Associate, (2.) Checkout was slow and store was far from crowded. I understand the one checkout that was open was handling an Amazon issue and that took time, but until another team member requested help it looked like no member of mgmt was available to get an additional checkout open. Sad!!!!!
I understand that it's hard to fill jobs, but mgmt team members job is to "pay attention". It appeared there was more focus on filing a report that was due at a particular time that day. Yes, I understand that at year end there are all kinds of reports due, BUT if you can't consistently deliver quality customer service, there will be no need for ANY reports!

One of the cards would not register. I called the number and they said it's not a valid card. I called Staples to find out my options and was told with attitude their system would never issue a number if it was not valid and there is nothing they can do. I said I'm going to make someone's life miserable since I gave Staples my money and didn't get the product as advertised. I was speaking with a manager. Instead of assisting me in verifying my purchase, calling the company issuing the Visa cards or showing any general concern... I was hung up on. True story! - horrible experience - rude - hung up on - told I'm in the wrong. Please train management as well as associates on proper customer service at this store. Thank you.
