Panda Express — Restaurant in West Pottsgrove

I must admit that my daughter and I were apprehensive about eating here due to hearing some negative comments that the food was not so good and about a small portion size for the price. My daughter and I had to go and experience the food ourselves to come to our own conclusion. Well, and I do emphasize "Well!" We are glad we did!! The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect. There is an express line where you pick out your food and they serve it to you, hence the name of the place is Panda Express. The place was clean. The staff and servers were courteous, cheerful, helpful, and efficient with our order. Hadyn answered any questions we had with a smile. Anna, our server, was kind and made sure to get our order exactly the way we wanted it. The food was delicious and we were happy with the portions. I have to say that we disagree with the Negative Nellys! If you want some good American Chinese food that might not be exactly like an actual authentic Asian Restaurant but just as satisfying then don't hesitate to go and enjoy! The price is about the same. Oh, those apple pie rolls for dessert were so good we ordered two more to take home with us to enjoy later! We will be returning in the future to dine-in or order for pickup or delivery. Also, you can sign up for Panda Rewards to earn Panda Points to use towards your next order! Now, who can complain...

I never leave bad reviews but I feel like this needs to be known. I ordered through drive thru and was told to drive around front and wait a few minutes... okay that's totally fine I get sometimes things run out and need to be made. But when I'm sitting out front for over 30 minutes watching over 20 other people inside be served and sit down to eat and I'm still waiting I get a little irritated. I had a man next to me in his car ask if I was waiting for food as he was waiting five minutes before I was and when his food came out after he called inside he was given 3 free entree tickets and an apology from the manager. My food finally came out after another 10 minutes and didn't get even a sorry or anything from a worker. Was told there is an online family deal going on but I personally don't think that should make other people wait over 30 minutes with no explanation service should still...

I was so excited to see one of these come to the area, and the couple of times I've been here haven't disappointed at all! The service and food have been great!

I see some people have complained about the food options and the wait, and my responses to those complaints are:

1. Panda Express never advertised itself as a traditional Chinese place. It's a franchise, and there were plenty of chances to research the menu beforehand. My husband and I both plan to frequent PE as well as our favorite mom-and-pop Chinese restaurants.

2. It's a brand-new restaurant that's been open a couple of weeks! It's going to take some time for the staff to get into the groove. I think they're doing a great job and have no doubt things will improve over time.

I look forward to coming back often! It's nice to have some variation to the myriad of Asian places that serve the same food...
