Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in West Pottsgrove

It really went down hill here. I used to like it but it’s so bad now. I see why it’s not called Jake’s Wayback anymore, Jake did not want to be involved in any of this crap here. My mom got a hamburger, and like you know, it’s supposed to look yummy, but it looked raw, not well done at all. She asked one worker dude if he could make it well done, and he took it back, but after like 2 minutes, it wasn’t any better. It looked like they went 2 stores down to petco and got a can of wet dog food and put it on a bun. She asked if instead she could have a hotdog because obviously the hamburger looked sickening to eat. My hotdog and hers too were almost completely pink!!! Like PINKPINKPINK!! I get a hotdog every time I come here and you can always see it looks all cooked and appetizing, but trust me, these hotdogs didn’t look that at all. They looked like the pile of dog poop outside. Then, idek what this thing was, but I got a hotdog and fries, and for some reason next to my fries, there was there weird mushy stuff?? Like was this onions or baked beans or something?? It stunk SOOOOOO BADDD! I tried so hard to hold everything down. I thought I was going to throw up all over the table. I don’t think I’m ever coming back here. Workers are also super weird, gave so much attitude, they were so lazy, idk how they got hired here. Fire them immediately if you ever want customers here again. Never ate the food. When I ordered my food on 08.03.2018 I noticed there were 3 guys handing the food, and all 3 were sporting long beards. All 3 were not wearing beard nets. I didn't make a big deal about it. I got my food and left, but I called the store while sitting in my car in the parking lot. Brandon answered and I let him know the situation, and told him I didn't want to point it out in front of other customers, but it's not a good practice. He answered, "it's not required at this location, and we do not have them here. We're not the only ones. I think the local McDonald's and Wendy's don't wear them either". !!!! He tried to make me feel better by comparing their sanitation standards to other local fast food establishments?? (Branding at its best). I responded with, "you guys wear hats for a reason.. so your hair is better managed to not make contact with food. So you should try to prevent the same with facial hair". He then said "I don't know what to tell you man, I guess I'll say something to the manager". What a joke. Had this been my first experience with a Jake’s way back I can assure you I would never return. I placed an order for my family this evening and ordered 5 burgers. One of the burgers was lacking all toppings and any sauce (it was an impossible melt with mushrooms, and believe it or not without the aioli this plant based burger is absolutely inedible). We also ordered a way back classic with mushrooms that also did not have any mushrooms on it. We understand times are difficult and keeping stock is challenging but to just omit an ordered topping without so much as a heads up is pretty terrible customer service. The French fries received were cold and soggy ( the order was picked up on time), and the chili on the chili fries (we wanted to give them a chance) was absolutely repulsive. I didn’t necessarily want to leave a huge public review about how awful our experience was, but the corporate website for feedback is absolutely unusable (you can’t submit your feedback).McDonalds would have been less of a disappointment, at least I expect barely edible. We will have to rethink our pick for burger night in the future.
