Just left this location in Magna. I had a $200 watch on and a $200 Bushnell sporting scope on layway. I paid them both off and when the women brought the items out, the watch was broken and the spotting scope didn’t have the case that was with it when we put it on layaway. The tag on the scope even still said “with case” the worker “Cathy” just got snotty when I told her the watch was broken and that it was working before we put it on layaway. Cathy just got snarky and said “well it must have been like that before you bought it cause we didn’t break it” and I said “why would I put a broken watch on layaway?” So she says super snotty “well then do you want to return it?, what do you want me to do about it?” So I ended up returning that. Then mentioned to her that I still needed the case the the scope. She says “there’s no case, I looked back there and there’s nothing” so I said, “well, it came with a case when we put it on layaway and it even says WITH CASE on the tag” and showed her. At which point she says “well I’m sorry, I looked and there’s no case now so do you want it or not?” I then told her that yes I still want it but that the cases are expensive and it was part of the price that I paid. She said “well do you want to return it then?” And I asked her why she was being so rude. She said “I’ve had a bad day, I’ll just return this for you. I don’t know what to tell you but I don’t have the case” so I told her she didn’t have to take the it out on me” and which point she said whatever and I grabbed the scope and left. Ten minutes later she calls me saying she found the case and that I had ten minutes to get there and pick it up. Super disappointed with this location. This was the first time and will be the last time I’ll go there. This was a $400 purchase and it’s pretty obvious that Cathy and her employees do not appreciate customers and understand of good business and...

They need to fire the gentleman named anthony and his boss Ronda I have never seen 2 more uneducated people in this authority position. I brought a platnium broach in which was halmarked from great Britain and stamped .950 and Anthony told me it was silver. Keep in mind that was after 15 minutes of him trying to explain how he is so smart and has such an extensive background in things of value. Once I realized they type of man I was dealing with (if you let him ramble on he will like you and offer you more money however today I had no time for that as my husband was in ICU) I have pawned this brooch 10+ times from other places including cash America (he claims he never saw it there before but I oawned under my old married name) I have gotten 250 to 600.00 and always. Pick it up cause its an heirloom worth much more money. I asked for the highest manager since my issue was so urgent to get to u of u and he went back and brought out a lady named Rhonda who just spewed the same hear say that he was saying earlier. They said it was silver and colored stones however the yellows and pinks were diamonds if they would have just realized platinum can be stamped 950 and tested them. I wish the other manager would have been there Karen I think she is so helpful and doesn't look down on me for needing a little money from time to time, she listens and genuinely cares. Good thing I made it to the other cash america up the street and got the money so I could make it to ICU. That Antony likes tontalk a lot and if you rush him he tells you What you have is worth 10.00.I will be sending a copy of my pawn ticket to him and rhonda to show that thier other store that took the time and was not acting like a know it all they have me 320.00. I have given this company a lot of business in the last 4 years and have never had an issue with them until today. I got a loan on an item and was offered quite a bit more than I needed at the time, but I was told that if I were to end up needed the remaining amount offered I would just have to come back in and get the loan for the amount I needed. I visited the store today to get the remaining amount I had left, first the girl that came to help me looked at my account and went straight and got her manager. The manager basically told me that he wasn't going to honer what I was originally offered and told by one of his employees and was pretty rude about it and just kept on repeating himself. The manager proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay the full amount that was borrowed plus the interest, than I would have to set up an entirely new loan and I wouldn't receive the amount that I was originally offered two days ago!!! I will never go back to Cash America Pawn in Riverdale Utah at the top of Riverdale road. Everyone should go to EZ Pawn in Roy on 1900. They actually offer a reasonable amount for the product your selling. And all of the employees are very friendly and they explain all the terms clearly so it doesn't cause issues like the employees at Cash America Pawn. All my business from now on will be going to EZ Pawn. Thanks for nothing Cash...
