Today around 2:30 PM I was going the wrong way on Highland avenue in Westview Borough. I live 70 miles north of Westview in a small town. We do not have a police department. I was stopped by a Westview police officer and I was surprised because I am not used to seeing the police. The officer was in his late 40’s and very professional and polite. I did not give this man a hard time I admitted what I did. To make a long story short I was let off with a warning. I did not get any bad feelings from this officer nor did I get the feeling he was looking to give me a problem. He was doing what he was hired to do and I understood that as soon as I was caught. The borough office has always been responsive and helpful over the 25 years we’ve lived here. The police department has been equally responsive and goes well out of their way to help you with any problem you may encounter. They are a big reason why we stay in WestView ... that and the fact that we are 10 minutes from downtown in five minutes from a fantastic shopping area. Hard to beat...

The police that showed up further traumatized me by interrogating me for information I wouldn't not provide, after they didn't receive what they wanted they retaliated by towing my my car and fining me $ towing and tickets.
