Highland Bar — Restaurant in West View

I just wanna know why the bartender cashed out on a Wednesday night at 12:45, whenever the bar door clearly states 2:00. I like to stop for a drink after work because I get off at 11:00 and i commonly rely on highland, but tonight I had a terrible experience. I showed up a couple minutes after twelve to buy a ToGo six pack, and the bartender tells me she already cashed out and there is no longer any cash in her drawer and she can't even except my card. She then proceeded to asked me to come to the other local bar (Danny's) with her to get drinks. I think she closed the bar early because she wanted to go drinking her self, and because of that decision I didn't get the service I was hoping. This is extremely unprofessional and I hope you address this immediately. Or at least adjust your hours as needed so your staff has a chance to go out and drink themselves, not close your bar early so they can go out. Your employees are costing you money and ruining my usual routine. I like this business because it's been around forever but, I really think there's too much slack in the rope, and the employer really should think about getting some new help in the most professional & polite way.

Use to go there all the time but haven't since I was barred. Was banned because I gave the Bartender (Erin) with the tattoos a one cent tip. Yup. When she saw it, she immediately confronted me and asked if it was a mistake - nope. I told her directly that it was commiserate with her level of service as I had to wait close to 20 minutes to get my tab as she went from one corner of the bar to the next socializing. What made it worse was that she immediately to me to never come back and then took it to a whole new level by taking the receipt, getting my name and sent me a message on Facebook echoing her statements. There's more about social media too but the point is.......

I've thought about contacting the owner Katie about this but I will not fight to spend money at an establishment that treats its patrons like the trash who...

The Highland Bar is such a nice place to kick back and relax. They have such awesome cooks the food is always good I have never had a bad experience. This is a smoker friendly bar. I have to give a shout out to the bartenders always on point at their busiest times you can see they always greet everyone when they can with a friendly face especially melonie she takes such good care of everyone at the bar and the tables. I would highly recommend this little place for good...
