Adding to my previous review below from a few months ago, where I wrote about the jewelry making class. Just wanted to speak about the shop itself. Lisa is an incredible artist and sells the works of other incredible artists in so many mediums. If you are looking for a beautiful and unique gift, you will always find the perfect gift in this beautiful shop. You'll also find beautiful treasures for yourself and your home. Today, a friend and I spent time perusing all the new and wonderful offerings. It's a cultural and artistic treat just to look around the shop. Lisa changes things up quite frequently so there is always something new and exciting to see. I found a pair of earrings she had made which made the perfect gift for my daughter. You just can't find original pieces like this anywhere else in our area. Sydney, the shop keeper is always such a delight. She remembers her customers, greets them warmly, and shares in the excitement when someone finds the perfect treasure. Yet, she never pressures you, just always makes you feel welcome and comfortable while shopping. She is truly a delight! Just wanted to give another five stars for the shopping experience at Muse. Took a pressed flower, jewelry making class today. Lisa was fantastic as a teacher. This is more an art than a craft. Each person in the class created gorgeous pieces. We all surprised ourselves. The instruction was beyond excellent. The materials provided were high quality and there was a great selection. She shared tips and explained every art supply we used. She gave us resource names so we can do this ourselves in the future. This was honestly the best art or craft class I have ever taken. The work space is cozy and perfect for creating the art. The shop is beyond gorgeous. This was a great experience. The classes are small enough to afford personal help and to create a fun social experience. Everyone in my class agreed at the end that we felt like we really accomplished something special. I think this experience really inspired everyone who participated to further explore our creative sides. Fantastic experience! One last thought. A couple people in class said they had no artistic talent and things they tried usually didn't work. Their pieces were gorgeous and they were surprised and thrilled with their pieces. So if you feel you are all thumbs in art, don't let that stop you. With Lisa's teaching you'll be amazed to discover you do have artistic talent and you'll love...

Muse is a fabulous place to buy a gift for yourself - or for anyone on your list. The selection is really wonderful, and the classes are very popular with my friends - I think I will be signing up for one this spring! I purchased some lovely cards, coasters and a hand crafted creamy soft scarf. I have several necklaces and earrings from Muse - the jewelry is really electric and unique - far better to look at these items and hold them in person. Friendly staff and easy to park right in Ludwigs village - it's a must go to after lunch...

I just took an Eco-printing class. It was amazing. We learned how to use leaves, flowers and other plant material to make a permanent design on a silk scarf. Lisa explained the complex chemistry involved in this process in simple terms that anyone can understand. She demonstrated some of the many possible variations that can result in the creation of a unique personalized article of clothing to keep for yourself or to give as a gift.
