Jerry's Supermarket — Local services in West Warwick

It has been a long time, but I live somewhere different now and let me tell you this, the prices that Jerry's sold their items for, back in 2009, Hannaford sells the same products for the same price, think about that! Big difference is, everything is locally grown here and Farm Fresh and secondly, when I ordered a sandwich from them, I confided in them because I first bought a sandwich somewhere around $4 and it was big and meaty and second time around, it seemed a little skimpy but I let it go, and I went there about five other times and it got smaller and smaller every time to the point where I wanted a refund and I asked for it very politely and they reimbursed me but I think it was something personal honestly, because my neighbor, my co-worker, he said that he had no problems with his sandwich, apparently it was because of the way I looked. I feel like I was discriminated against, and I felt like I was being ripped off, and I did not want to see anybody else go through that so I never went back there again, I hope they cleaned up their act...no...

I really like Jerry's because it's a small town grocery store but they still have everything you need. It's always clean. The help is always very pleasant. A lot of times, they actually have brands/flavors that you don't find everywhere else, and even a few things I specifically ONLY go to Jerry's to get!! If there was one thing I'd change if I could, it's the prices, but not by much honestly. They're not WAY TOO expensive, but they usually are at least a dollar or so more than say... Walmart. I really don't mind paying a little extra, though, as long as it means I don't have to drive all the way to Coventry from the opposite side of West Warwick. Also, I'm not quite sure what the deal is with the 'Adam's Hometown' name being on some things and not on others, if it means anything or not, but I'd kind of like to know what that's all about. It really doesn't matter, I haven't seen or tasted any difference in anything labeled with the 'Adam's Hometown' name... I've just always been a very curious person, almost to an annoying...

Super rude lady in the express line tonight. I do tend to shop here frequently as I never had any issues but this really took me by surprise. Long story short if you don't want to check people out just say the lane is closed don't take out your uncontrollable frustration on your customers being passive aggressive. She seemed more interested in talking with coworkers than anything. She quickly moved a closed lane sign in front of her desk after ringing out are WHOPPING 4 items gave us the receipt and ignored us while we told her to have a good day. What lovely service! Makes me totally want to return. Wish i got her name but no name tags. Would be hard to read one even if she had one since she had her back turned to us more than half the time. Might I add she was also checking someone out right in front of us as we waited in line. If you cant keep your emotions in...
