I have always liked drug mart, and went a few times per week before the virus hit, like retired people are prone to do. I stopped going when, for perfectly understandable reasons, they did not offer curbside service when the virus hit. Months later, now they do advertise curbside at many stores, so i tried it. Well, they are clearly not ready. The website allows one to order dry goods, not deli goods, but it's a start. I placed my order, and received a nice phone call quickly from an associate telling me where their inventories were correct and incorrect, about half and half. Agreed on what they did have. Went to pick up the order: customer service couldn't find it, though they were very nice about it in a puzzled way, and they switched me to the registers, where the cashiers were nice about it in a harried way but could not find the order either. Whey they did find part of the order, they invited me into the store to get it -- which is not precisely what is meant by "curbside'. When i pointed this out, they informed me they don't do curbside. For friendly informational purposes only, I noted that they list curbside on the web, allow one to place orders, and allow their staff to call me back about the order, and so i think they probably are supposed to do curbside, but it's not that important so never mind. I guess I won't be doing drug mart until we get a vaccine, which is certainly my decision. It was a nice idea...
Read moreHuge hassle happening Here! In the store doing a return. No issues. Happened to see junior size payday candy bars on sale. Enormous displays of all candy saying two bags for $9. Saw that they had paydays and grabbed two bags. Went to check out and they rang up EACH up as $9. Associate went back and checked on price and said yes they're two for $9. Manager was called to adjust price. I am handicapped and have a difficult time standing. This took a while. Manager Claire came and wouldn't take word of associate and went back to check for herself. Meanwhile I'm still standing at the counter another 5 minutes. Manager said no they are not two for $9. So I didn't buy them.
Thinking I might be crazy I went back and looked for myself. Manager Claire was there looking for them also. She said oh they are two for $9. So I grabbed two bags and headed to the counter and then she accosted me and said no no they're not on sale. The smaller ones are on sale only. What a ridiculous experience. It took me half an hour to buy two bags of payday candy bars. I came home and my legs hurt so bad I was not happy at all. Claire get your...
Read moreNicole is the worst key holder I have ever came in contact with. She never smiles, she's rude and none of the other employees really like her. She was very disrespectful towards me and when I asked for a manager she came waltzing up to me as if I wanted to deal with her again. When I said I didn't want to speak with her, she loudly said in front of the other employees and customers "Oh she doesn't want me, she wants to talk about me." How unprofessional! Then as I am speaking to the manager she rolls her eyes at me. I am not sure if he even spoke with her because he just kept looking at me with a goofy grin as I was telling him the story. They need to get rid of her because she just doesn't fit in this neighborhood with that horrible attitude! But I will say I love the $.79 movie...
