Mr. Hero — Restaurant in Westlake

First couple times at Mr Hero. Pickup up a Romanburger for a family member and the cheesesteak sub for me. Solid food. The veggied on the Romanburger were fresh and my family member loved it. The cheesesteak sub for me was great too. I like mushrooms and it had a lot of them. If you're not a mushroom fan you might have them go light on them, but I love them. The waffle fries were very good, and i liked them much better than the ones at a certain chicken chain. Note, This location is definitely setup more for takeout...

First experience. Moved from Chicago. Looking for good local food. Sooo disappointed. The "steak" sandwiches was not steak... it was like under cooked gyro meet...not steak! and i love gyros.. it wasnt good at all.i should have found a gyro place. It took me hours to flush out the sticky cheese from my throat. The bread was good but i will NEVER order from this...

It gets busy at lunchtime on a weekday, but the quality of food is good and the taste is great. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly.

The best thing to get is a Romanburger BTE. The ratio of meat to veggies to bread is divine. If you want to kick it up one more notch, add garlic topping. You will thank your deity of choice (or perhaps find one to...
