I love my chair so much it is really pleasant. I like how all manner of gizmos essentially serve a need and function of a chair. I have heard so many good reviews that essentially it was a no brainer to buy the chair. Also the staff was kind and expert. They have so many types of chairs and even chair foams like aerofoam and other types of foam. Even different heights of chairs and they can make one online to your exact specifications including fabric color. Really essentially they are so good my family still has one that is 40 years old. The showroom is well kept with proper ventilation. The staff has proper equipment for their work everything is well done and well thought out like the old days of furniture when essentially longevity and quality of chairs were still appreciated like a fine German watch. Even foam squishiness is the right consistency as to aid in rejuvenation rather than being too soft you get lost in the chair as some other chair companies have not solved yet. Really price point one is probably getting a 5000 or more dollar chair for like 500. Really this is the best chair you can buy for pricepoint and also the mechanics of the chair that one can buy. Read moreThe little woman and I decided to buy a new sofa and I knew Lazy Boy had the best products. I entered the store on 100th Avenue and Wadsworth and was immediately greeted by Martin Arroyo. I was pleased someone was free to show me around. I already had in mind what sofa I wanted and was immediately shown the Brooks recliner. Martin then showed me another sofa that was much more comfortable and convenient to operate. Martin and I connected on a number of issues and so we seemed to understand each other which made talking with Martin like talking to an old friend. Martin made the process a comfortable experience.
I returned the next day with my wife to show her the incredibly comfortable and reasonably priced sofas Martin introduced me to the day before. Martin was in the store again and he was as gracious and easy to talk to as the first time I met with him. Martin only slightly pressured us by introducing us to a number of upgrades and reclining chairs to us.
I applied for credit and Martin guided us through the process with professionalism and did not waste any of our time. Read moreWe purchased the extended warranty on our lift chair because we knew there was a good chance we would need the upholstery coverage as it was going to be used by and elderly person that smokes. And we were right. So we called the service department but despite calling on different days at different times, no one answered or returned our calls. After 4 months of calling and leaving messages with no results we finally went into the showroom where we were called liars. They woman who helped us (and I use that term loosely because she was very rude and not very helpful, acting like my simply existing was an in convince to her) simply couldn't believe we had called because "customer service is a priority and they are very good at it". She couldn't have been further from the truth. Once we finally got in contact with someone they refused to honor the warranty saying it was non transferable. Dispite the fact that the person whos name was on the receipt was the person requesting the service, they refused to honor it because someone else had used the chair. Who buys a chair but doesn't let anyone else sit in it? So please don't do business with this company as they are backhanded and don't stand behind their products...
