I tend to go past Lowes and Home Depot to get to Ace hardware. As they are hardware stores and not "home improvement stores". They're very knowledgeable and will admit if they don't have the knowledge about what you're working on; but will work to find you the correct answer. I also love the service they give every time I come through the door, someone greets me to help me find what I'm looking for. That type of service is getting harder and harder to find. Granted, I'm paying a little more money for my product most of the time (as ace can't buy quite the bulk that the other stores can), but I find it's really not that much more money and I have found some really great deals as well. store there always has where I need and I'm in and out no time selection the little thin being a smaller store but fine with me I really want to do some shopping I'll go to a bigger grocery store but then I just have to deal with more people. The King Soopers has been remodeled with nice new refrigerated cases... it looks very nice and clean. The prices seem to be a little higher but it could be I wasn't shopping the sale items this week. I always use self check out, and today the young man monitoring the area was VERY helpful, letting me know that a specific time in the check out process you can move the bags to your cart without the machine 'screeching' to put your items in the bagging area.
