I was visiting the Boulder area and was trying to find a decent brunch restaurant to have with my daughter on 2 Aug 2025. I accomplished the infamous Google search for restaurants (that were still serving breakfast food) near my hotel in Broomfield and this one popped up within a reasonable distance, so we opted to try it out. When we arrived, I was worried because I was already starting to get some "hangry" spells and saw a bunch of people waiting outside so I wasn't sure how long the wait time would be. We checked in with the host and were informed that the wait time would be ~20 minutes, so my daughter and I just waited outside.
When we finally got called, we were told to sit at the bar/counter area...though, it's not my favorite choice of seating, but considering I was starving, I didn't care where we sat down. I was a little disappointed that the counter still had dirty dishes and food particles all over...but the host informed us to just sit down and they'll clean it off afterwards. It's just surprising they didn't ensure the area was clean prior to having me (or anyone for that matter) sit there.
Looking through the menu, I was overwhelmed with all the options - it all sounded good. However, we ended up ordering the Supreme Omelet with Pancakes, Hash Browns, and a side of Tortillas; Breakfast Tacos with Hash Browns, Coffee, and Orange Juice. The food was amazing! Considering how busy this restaurant was at the time of my visit, I was amazed at how fast everything was prepped and delivered to us. Our main server, Marina, did a good job that afternoon, though it did take a significant time to get our check at the end. Regardless, she was extremely professional and friendly at the same time.
The restaurant's interior was nice; everything looked up-to-date and maintained very well. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was adequate; therefore, I have zero issues in that area. I highly respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I can definitely see myself returning for another visit if I'm ever in the area again because as mentioned earlier, the menu items sounded great and caught my attention. I liked my first experience here as depicted in my 4-star rating and I highly recommend this restaurant...
Read moreThe food is GREAT! However, they’re severely understaffed, which leads to lonnnnng wait times (because they don’t bus their tables) and super long wait times to get attention from a server. The green chile is just alright. But other than that, great food.
Edit to add: we visited again in September 2025…once again, the food was good, but the business acumen of this restaurant is AWFUL. First of all, they’ve got at least ten parties waiting….with 3-4 open tables on the patio. When asked, they said they could, “only seat 4 tables outside.” Furthermore, they have no strategy on how they’re sitting tables. We were a table of 6, and were at the top of the list to be seated - we had been waiting 35 minutes. However, there was an “open table” (1 out of the 4 outside). They chose to seat a 2 top, when there was capability to seat us. On top of that, these people had only been waiting 15 minutes. The girl had no rhyme or reason why she chose them over us, and I explained it would make most sense to seat whichever table is first, let alone a table of 6 that makes most money typically.
From here, because no one knows they’re intentionally holding tables open outside…there are several tables that linger. During our brunch, there were two that sat outside for an hour after eating.
You guys are doing it wrong. We left after brunch with probably 15 parties waiting to be sat. There were 6 open tables on the patio. I can bet that most would rather sit down, enjoy a drink and maybe have a bit longer service instead of standing and waiting outside.
You may be understaffed, but your waiters only take orders. You have food runners. Fill the tables! The food comes quick, we had no issues…you’re losing money by not accommodating your open tables.
And lastly…educate your host. Explain priority of the waitlist and profitability of...
Read moreMy whole review just disappeared! Thanks Google 😡
Including some, hopefully seen as, constructive feedback.
This place is more of a diner than an elevated brunch spot. More closely resembles Great Scotts Eatery.
Ugh. So upsetting that I took the time to write a thoughtful review and it just disappeared.
Parking - large lot in a safe place
Restroom - clean and well maintained
Service - great service from a younger staff. Appreciate the patience while I was being indecisive
Food:
Beans are so-so. Could really use an added element. Maybe a pinch more salt Green chili - tastes canned. Not spicy, but has a nice thickness and tasty Potatoes - Perfectly browned, sliced and perfectly seasoned (do not change these 🙏🏼) Butter - Please stop serving margarine. It’s gross, disgusting, and tastes that poo. Know it costs a little bit more, but would go better fit with the vibe of the place Syrup - again if you are calling this a brunch spot, but not serving food that is elevated Miscellaneous charges - we were charged for putting a tortilla on the side instead of under the dish. Not cool. Hopefully this can be fixed in the future
We’ll return at some point to try the lunch/dinner menu. Personally would love to see this place succeed. Just be great to see the food match what is being sold. Want to see this become the “Go To” breakfast...
