Typical Viet appoint. You call they say ok and don't even bother asking which stylist or your own number.

However, my local Viet gal pal recommended me this place and I was lucky I landed with IVAN ~**. He said everyone's out or busy right now so he took me in for a cut and full foil highlight.

I am the type that never goes to the salon. I hate redoing things and I like low maintenance. I showed inspo photos.

Things I like about Ivan:

1. He actually looked at my photos and gave feedback
2. He had another client who showed up late, and although he did rush my toner sesh a little, he still got me to my conditioning step before working on the other late client.
3. He was clear about his add ons prices before doing anything
4. He didn't cheat me with a full foil price and did the minimal half full foil. He actually did a lot of the hair underneath. So when I put my hair in a pony tail you can still see the foils
5. He was just a really nice, friendly, pleasant stylist.
6. He explained the process to me while he was doing it.

I'm totally coming back here. It's not a bougee place, but fits my needs and price point perfectly. Catch them on a weekday if you can.

We (my mom, my sister, and I) went for a hair cut. Two ladies did a good job on my mom and my sister hair; however, I had a bad experience with Kenneth. First, he didn't test the water before he wash my hair. It was cold. When I complained; he had no sympathy. There wasn't a conversation during hair cut between he and I. However, he was talking to his coworker to die his hair. After the cut, I stood up to check my hair without saying any. He instantly said that the hair spray was on and can't be fixed. I felt like to get torture instead of get a pretty hair. He rushed to cut my hair , so that he can get his hair done by his coworker. I gave 3 starts because my mom and my sister had a good ones. First time dyeing my hair in YEARS and first time doing anything silver or ombre so definitely out of my wheelhouse.

My stylist was Tina and she is awesome. So kind, sweet, and VERY professional and talented. She looked at the example pics I had and talked about them with it, the practical outcome and the logistics of it.

She was 100% patient and did not rush with me, even though this can be a long process. She took care of other customers, too, but that was understandable cause of hair coloring is the wait.

I love my results and I'm glad to have someone like her do my hair!! In fact, it was a really good vibe all around with the other stylists. They were checking up on me and everyone seemed to really know what...
