Stopped in because we were craving some pho, but soon realized after entering, they don’t have pho, but rather other traditional Vietnamese soups. Not a big issue because I can go either way usually. I would say that the food quality here is a 5/5, and so are the prices, but the service is a 3-4/5. Our server was a bit slow and not the most polite but that’s a frequent occurrence when I stop in Thai or Vietnamese restaurants. I don’t come for the service, I always come for the food. It’s quite large on the inside and they have a lot of different sized tables, so it could easily accommodate very large groups. It’s attached to a strip mall so there is a very large parking lot so parking will most likely never be an issue.
The menu is fairly large filled with all sorts of classic items. As mentioned I was craving pho, but was sad to see they didn’t have that on the menu. I opted for something similar and thought it was great. We started off with a Vietnamese Spring Rolls and I really enjoyed them. For my entrée, I chose the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup and I was not disappointed. I usually like the glass noodles, but this came with udon and they were very soft and tasty.
Overall a really good option especially if you are in the area. There is a ton of competition close by, but I would recommend this spot to anyone in the mood for a good...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a unique Vietnamese dining experience, you need to try this place, especially if you’re a fan of Vietnamese crepes, known as Banh xeo. This dish is absolutely delicious and a must-try for anyone who loves flavorful, authentic cuisine. The Vietnamese crepe is perfectly crispy on the outside, with a savory filling that’s bursting with flavor. It’s a dish that everyone should experience at least once.
One clever tip we picked up from other diners is to order a side of noodles (Bun) along with the Banh xeo. This combo is a game-changer and adds an extra layer of texture and flavor to your meal. But a word of advice - eating Banh xeo requires a bit of skill! You’ll need to know how to roll a spring roll to enjoy it properly. If you’ve never done this before, prepare for a fun, albeit slightly messy, experience. But trust me, it’s all part of the charm!
The service at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff is attentive and welcoming, and you’ll usually get seated right away. Another plus is the ample parking, which is a pleasant surprise given how popular this place is.
In short, if you’re in the mood for something delicious and different, do yourself a favor and visit this restaurant. It’s the best spot for Vietnamese food, and you’ll leave craving...
Read moreWe live in the East Coast. We have second home in California so we spend about 4 months in Orange County. We love Quan Mii's bánh xèo. We think they are the best here and the East Coast. We came to Quan Mii so often in the past, every time we were here and more. However there was an incident here last night that really bothered us. We came in and ordered drinks and 1 bánh bèo and 1 bánh xèo, my favorite. Bánh bèo came and bánh xèo never came. We watched people coming in after us and they had their banh xèo. After watching FOUR banh xèo coming out and went to other people who came in after us, my husband got really mad. He came to the cashier complained. The lady, manager or owner, was really nice . She apologized a lot and offered us free banh xèo but after hearing all the horror stories about how the mad waiter would do to your food, spitting and stuff, we refused the offer. It is really that young small built waiter's fault who completely forgot us. It is a small incident but we could not come back to Quan Mii anymore , being afraid they remember us and the horror stories about what the waiter would do to our food. It is ashamed because we love their banh xeo so much. in summary, Quan Mii's banh xèo are still the best, just watch out for...
