Shop 'n Kart — Local services in Westport

Super bad service today, alot of people in town, we are locals we are their daily and have had okay service since it has been taken over with the new owners . Numerous people including myself looking for an open check stand noticed one was open since it's light was on and there was a closed sign on it , the woman said oh there is a checkstand open over their... Where is over their? Their is no light on on any other check stands , first off why isn't the light fixed so your customers can know and second off nobody was even their. So me and other valued customers are just standing their confused and there are no checkers because the one that was available put her closed sign up to go to break ? What is more important, taking care of customers or going on your break when you can some other time so your just going to let your customers stand their and look dumb.... One checker named ROBIN is super rude, huffing and puffing ignoring what we are trying to ask them when my 4 year old trys to say hi and be polite. Robin,...

I give one star merely because this store exists as a place to buy necessities. If you have any conceivable alternative, take it. Don't shop here. Their prices are outrageous. They should feel guilty for extorting that kind of money from their Westport neighbors. Their store is filthy. I have been in twice this week DURING BUSINESS HOURS when they were cleaning out the grease traps in the deli. The entire store smelled like burnt human hair. I saw customers and employees sheilding their eyes and faces from the awful smoke and odor. I am genuinely concerned for the health of the people who work in this trap. This place its not safe, pretty sure they are violating every code ever written regarding food service and safety...... Westport, we can do better!!! Don't give these people your hard earned money!!! Let shop n kart know that you are not satisfied. Let them know that you expect neighborly pricing and considerate air filtration systems to keep the air in the store safe and clean. Shame on you...

This place was great. It was just where I needed a store with groceries to be. I first thought it was far from where we camped at a RV place. But it was really not. There was no place close or less than 15 miles away to buy grocery items (more than a gas station) besides this store. Relieved I stumbled across it at any rate. (It really was not included in my search.) This place was sort of small . But it certainly surprised me with the quality and choices they offered. They have a lot of surprising items and hmm that's cool kinds of things. They did seem to close early but in my opinion ,most places did in that area. Pricing was fair on most items and a tad pricey on a few. But like I said it was a great find. And they had a really great deli and their fruits and veggies were superb. If you ever need anything for your RV. This place will probably have it. Along with items you did not...
