I had a pretty good experience here but I must note a few shady things I had experienced:
When my salesman was sending me information about the truck I got, I asked about some paint damage and some interior scratches to which he told me was just dirt. He said it would be fixed in the detailing department before I picked up the truck. I was like ok sweet, signed paperwork. Came back to fill out more paperwork and finalize everything, signed an “as is” form and got the keys. It was a pleasant experience but after cleaning the truck a few times now, it’s very clear that these are scratches and it’s not dirt. When I texted my sales guy about it, he told me that they could fix it if I wanted to pay but I bought it as is. I feel kind of taken advantage of and I feel like I was ripped off. If the vehicle was in the prime condition it was advertised as, the price could be justified but after realizing that the interior and exterior has a bunch of scrapes and surface damage, I can’t justify the price. I wish they were more honest with me about the condition of the vehicle before I bought it.
Driver door coated in scratches, back of console that faces the rear coated in scrapes, seatbelt pillar has a bunch of chips in it, bed scraped up, front bumper has a big ch up out of the paint, driver door has a gash into the door. Passenger door and pillar have similar damage on the interior as well.
Edit (7/6/2025): I had emailed back to discuss this in greater detail. I did not get a response. The brakes are also hella squealing but they told me they just redid the brakes, and all service is up to date (before I bought the truck). I understand it’s a used vehicle but dang I feel deceived.
Edit (8/12/25): I called to see if there was a follow up, also addressing a concerning amount of rust I’ve discovered. Sales manager told me it’s basically my fault for not seeing any of this damage and he can’t do anything when I reach out months after, even though i reached out 3 times prior, the first being a day after the sale. While I’m happy with my vehicle, I did expect them to make the moment right and replace the door panel that’s scratched where they claimed it was dirt and fix the paint chips in the front that he also claimed was dirt. But the response I recieved basically told me to kick rocks and it’s my fault that I didn’t inspect the vehicle prior (although I did and they said it was dirt and assured me it would be gone with a detail). As I have evidence of these conversations, I am looking into legal representation to address the deception in this situation. A report with the BBB has been filed and I have initiated an investigation through the FTC. It’s not okay to practically gaslight someone that you expect to remain a customer after said customer has addressed concerns such as these. Don’t do business with these guys, they’re going...
Read moreI bought a brand new 2024 Silverado High Country in 2023 had a very good salesman, who is no longer there! so, I have some recalls and wanted some other work that needed done. made several calls left voice message because the answer machine was the only person who would talk to me. Finally had a gentleman call me. I told him needed to bring truck in for recalls and a windshield. also had another issue we talked about. Told him I would like to request a loaner car. all set up and ready to go. Emails two days before appointment date. Sorry sir windshield has not come in don't know when it will be in. Oh, and by the way today is my last day! I will pass you off to another service writer and we will contact you when that windshield comes in. I'm like great thanks for the heads up and all your help. well weeks go by. No Email or call so I call back get receptionist, she transfers me to service again I get to talk to my old friend the answering machine. This happened at least five times on different days, When I called back the next day, I told the receptionist if I get another answering machine I was done. she forwards my call to the person who runs the service writer and or shop. yep, you guessed it I got her answering machine, leave message no call back. now I'm smoking. I actually over see a service shop so I'm like I get it things are rough these days. So, BUT I'm a gluten for punishment, so let's try again. I call and get my favorite receptionist, she says I will transfer you! I'm like! let me explain something if I get another answering machine, IM DONE!!! She says I will personally find you someone. And she did! Now we are on a roll, talked the gentleman set everything up and we verified a loaner car and appointment, and I asked will you be there he replied YES. So, I head over to my appointment. Again, your right! my service writer is not there, family emergency. I proceeded with a nice young lady, do the paperwork. Then I asked for the loaner car. Um we don't have one, I'm like I bought a 70.000-dollar truck, I would hope I could get a loaner as you have stated it will take a few days. Let me talk to my manager. She comes back and states he says you can rent one from enterprise. I politely told her I have been battling you guys for over a month, I think I will just walk over and get in my truck and leave. I have waited two days and still haven't heard from them. Well again you guessed it! I will never ever step foot in that chit hole place, looks like to me they ran off a very good car salesman who I will follow and a good service writer. my point being if you can't take care of your help how are you going to take care of your customer. I will buy another new truck but not there. So good luck if you choose to buy from a mediocre sales lot. 0...
Read more4.999999 STARS for my sales consultant WES Bates, we hit off with similar side passions as speakers, ask for him and hear his story. Never ONCE did I feel like I was being sold, I really enjoyed the hell out of him and definitely wanted to make sale for his sake as well. Wes, you are a good guy, authentic as hell chasing a dream, keep after it!. docked a fraction of a star for the fact that, I do believe it was an oversite, but my deal almost fell apart in financing because at end when I went to pay for my down payment and was told that it it had to be debit card, not another credit card.
I had committed to a larger down payment because I wanted a lower interested rate & payment, plus I will be receiving cash to pay off the down payment from the credit card I was going to put it on. I was in a bind as my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee died its last leg on me and I couldn't wait until next week to get a car and they had a car I wanted.
I had not had a GREAT friend that could float me the down payment and sent to me via Zelle. They deal would have been dead and lots of time wasted.
3.5 Stars Finance department. I liked my guy, but this was a very traditional finance experience, attempted to get me to finance an extended warranty which ultimately would have been $180 a month for the life of the loan at 8.59% used car interest rate.
In addition, I shame on my for not looking close enough at the APR finance sheet. I was already getting a payment lower than I wanted. So I wasn't looking too close, but I saw later they slipped in a LOWJACK subscription for $1600, Had I been paying more attention, I would have nixed it, but I'll deal with it.
It just felt like usual tactics at a car dealership. Reminding everyone to stay diligent.
SO FOUNDATION CHEVY: My Recommendations: Help Wes with his speaking career, get him out of being in a job that works you 6 days a week. Make aware to prospects who plan on putting a down payment that it can't be another credit card. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that this is an oversight, and not a tactic that gets people all the way to the end and makes them have to scramble and possibly shuffle funds they didn't intend at the moment. Other people may not have the means I do. Strive to be disruptor in the Finance game and make it a great experience, no need to "slip in extras" and hope the...
