Unfortunately, while I was in the store, a pleasant woman came in asking to have her battery tested. Someone had told her that she should have that done because her power steering light was on. The store manager told her that the power steering has nothing to do with the battery. Then the manager just stood there like the lady should leave. This obviously made a woman feel bad and foolish. She was just doing her best to take care of her car. She had a Toyota Camry, which has electric power steering and yes, the battery does have something to do with the power steering. The store manager again, put her off and told her that somebody would come and take care of her as soon and she should go “pop her hood”. I was standing at the counter with a starter. She refused to do any work to try to figure out if she could sell me a new starter. This is a simple starter from a 1989 4.3 L V6. There are millions of them. I was very disappointed. When a woman comes in to an auto parts store, she should be greeted courteously and helped as much as possible. She was still standing out by her car waiting when I left. Read moreWe were roadtripping when we had a check engine light go off. We pulled off the interstate and came here. The kids (multiple toddlers) and us were exhausted after being awake and traveling for many hours. The staff here welcomed us in to cool off and even provided snacks for us! How generous and kind. After several hours with their patient and knowledgeable help, we were able to get back on the road.
My child said it was like the story of the Good Samaritan and Santa Clause the way they gave us shelter and snacks. :)
They knew we would be traveling to remote areas without service and they wanted to help us get back on the road safely and made sure the kids were kept happy too.

Read moreChanged my brakes, forgot to tighten down one of the wheels all the way (jan 11). When I was driving I heard it on the highway and pulled off 694 to check it out. Couple younger guys here working were more than helpful and got me set up and on my way for as little cost as possible, with as successful result as possible. I'll also note, someone else was at the store and they were doing their best to help him diagnose the problem at hand as well.
For those who have issues with calling the store, that's a staffing issue, not an issue with the staff. These guys were great. They were busy, and attentive.
