CVS Pharmacy — Local services in Whitefish Bay

Buyer beware! If you are an ordinary customer, and not a health insurance expert stay away from CVS, especially the Minute Clinic. So I went for my flu shot, and they happened to have the Shingrix available. I knew it was covered so I thought go ahead. Wrong! Even though both are vaccines they are covered under different parts of my plan. I called the number on Minute Clinics bill, they said call your insurance. I called the insurance they said call the Minute Clinc. I called the Insurance again, and they talked to CVS, and they said you have to go to them in person. I went in person and they waved a meaningless sign in my face, about insurance and shrugged their shoulders. You should have gone to the pharmacy for the shot, they said. The pharmacy is 5 feet away from the Minute Clinic in the same space! Called the Minute Clinic billing number AGAIN, and there is a form that I can file myself, and a form from the insurance to file this in the right place. So now I am an insurance agent, and a customer. Maybe I should just give myself my own shot while I'm at it. PS the pharmacy guy looked like he wanted to help, but the Clinic woman was a total you know what. She is not the one who gave me my shot. I am done with these people! What a...

Went to self service and got as waiting for help. Nora the clerk was agitated with a customer at the counter. Came to my kiosk and cancelled my order. She said “we’re not doing this”. Dante the pharamist, Rose Mary, and the entire staff is always helpful and use our first names when we come in. The store itself with the manager Bob go out of their way to help.
