My husband and I went for a treat tonight and we left absolutely horrified. We both ordered blizzards. His was nice and full with a good amount of candy mixed in, my cup was about 3/4 full with hardly any candy in it. I asked for mine to be full, like his and they just added extra ice cream. I asked it they could just remake it and the person who made mine became completely unhinged. He insulted us, berated us and was very inappropriate and condescending. He said he won’t remake it because he cares too much about the environment and remaking would be wasteful. He proceeded to say that I must have some disabilities and that at least one of my disabilities must be blindness. He insisted that he was right and we were wrong. He absolutely refused to do the right thing while the other employees stood by ignoring this. I asked for a refund and he said he doesn’t have the authority to do that. My husband asked him, again, just to do the right thing and remake it and he told us he would charge us some $7 for it. At this point we just left, but I have honestly never had such a terrible and traumatic experience. This kid said his name was Andrew and I absolutely couldn’t believe the terrible things he said and how entitled he was for such a young man. Mocking the disabled was really terrible. It...

A few of the lovely words used to describe an experience that soured a date night.
Im echoing my wife's note about our experience this evening. My blizzard was fine. Hers on the other hand was about 3/4 full. My wife voiced her displeasure with the blizzard. After a bit of hassle the small gal up front (usually has an attitude when I go there) put some ice cream right on top.. It looked like trash, and didn't have any of the ingredients mixed in. Again, we had to plead with the staff to make it right. Andrew, the boy up front refused to mix the blizzard, want to charge me to add the toppings to make it proportional, and wanted to charge me to make a new one. He also called us blind and explicitly stated that "I (he) is right and you (me) are wrong)
Hours later I'm still floored how terrible this experienc. Good job Andrew and small gal. Your refusal to make the situation right just lost a frequent repeat customer. I hope the $0.20 of Butterfinger you saved is worth the...
Read moreSunday I preordered an Oreo blizzard cake online for a birthday party. Over the course of two days Dairy Queen and I played phone tag since they require prepayment and confirmation to place the order. Each time I called back it went straight to voicemail and was never able to touch base with anyone. I left several voicemails trying to confirm my order and pay, I also asked if they could please let me know if my order was confirmed with no avail. Luckily when I went to pick up the cake it had been made. Although the cake had no Oreo pieces or chocolate drizzle and the icing to write Happy Birthday was the wrong color. I asked if it was possible to have Oreo pieces to put on the cake, since Oreos typically come on it, he said he could charge me for a side of Oreo pieces. I kind of tried to talk to the guy at the counter about how it normally comes with oreos and showed a cake I’ve bought in the past. He said it was above his pay grade and to call if I had complaints. Added last years cake for reference (one...
