$49.99 Since writing this review, Moen contacted us and were very nice and helpful, in replacing the damaged goods. I have even called the Fairmont Ace Store and had no response as yet. Over the years, we have spent a great deal of money with this store and as far as I am concerned, that has come to an end. I would rather drive many more miles to where we will be treated as valued customers. We paid $49.99 for this showerhead and it did not last one month. On the same day we spent more than $342.00 and when we tried to return the showerhead, which the cheap rubber-like inside hose had blown open, drowning our bath, Ace Hardware in Fairmont would not accept it because we did not still have the box, even though we presented them with the receipt. We have spent many hundreds of dollars at this store and are Very disappointed in their inaction toward regular customers. This will cost them far more in future business from us. I will never go back there even though it might take a much longer trip to other stores. I no longer trust them. This will also be posted on Google and Yahoo as well...

Really despised this Ace hardware after the back and forth I dealt with on a return of something a few years ago. But after attempting to use the merchandise card from that return, I had issues. Attempted to purchase online with the gift card but was unsuccessful. Figured I'd go in and give it a go. Same thing. Wouldn't process right. So, the transaction was passed off to a gentleman named Alex. This man did more for the customer than I have ever seen combined out of the staff in this place. He did everything in his power to run the merchandise card and we were finally successful.

I returned again a few weeks later to purchase more supplies and wanted to thank Alex again for his assistance. To my surprise (since I'm terrible at remembering people) Alex remembered exactly who I was and was happy to help me find what I needed with suggestions.

As long as Alex is there, I will return. The others could learn from him. Keep up...

i had to order some quikrete i needed 30lbs after 15mins i got a email saying the order was cancelled then received another email saying the order was confirmed sent my wife to pick up the order and when she picked it up the order was only a 10lb bag they where out of stock and instead of letting me know before they processed my order they just charged me for one 10lb bag they even had the 30lb bag in stock so after she wasted the trip i had to wait and drive 50 mins out of my way just to pick up the right order from LOWES they workers where nice but it’s ridiculous they couldn’t tell me this when i called to...
