Bob Evans — Restaurant in Whitehall

Ordered on line for delivery as tired after driving all day. I called the restaurant after ordering as I had never ordered on line before to ask if they included cutlery as we were staying at the hotel across the street I was assured they always do. The order was picked up for delivery (per a notification) to our hotel about 5 minute walk across the street it arrived no more than 0 minutes afterward. Our dinners were stone cold and no cutlery to be found I called the restaurant. Spoke to e manager who said he could “try” to get a refund from the S delivery company. I Said no way was it their fault as our dinners had to have left the restaurant cold besides I told him I ordered it from the Bob Evans website not DoorDash. He said he could make us up new dinners (it’s now pas 7pm) but had no way of delivering again. I said no I wanted a refund. As I wasn’t about to go out in the dark in a strange neighbourhood now Poor service , very small portions and not really caring about our experience. I won’t be going to Bob Evans again anytime soon. Have put it on my calendar to watch for the refund Terrible service...

Coming here on a business trip, I was drawn to try this Bob Evans since I am a fan of my local Bob Evans service and food. So what the heck, let's see how they compare!

Table was clean stocked and organized. Environment was quiet clean and inviting.

Food: fries were very hot, but a little under cooked, but good with not too much salt and not put on the plate sloppy. *Chicken was good, semi fresh and cooked thorough to satisfaction.

Service: service was up to standard, Sidney, a waitress greeted me with only asking how many, nothing of a personalized greeting or overbearing. Sat me in a booth right away and was very kind and attentive from there on. I did notice she took initiative in helping her fellow waitress Co-workers which was nice to see. Sidney was very friendly and I would only show her greeting for improvement, otherwise she showed great integrity.

Overall: you can expect decent quality food aside minor imperfections, friendly service and cleanliness from this location. Nobody is perfect, but this is close enough for...

I was traveling threw. Stopped at this location. Got out with my baby went in. Was ruddle told by a manager that someone would be with me in a moment. Said ok and tried to ask were the bathroom was but got ignored. Had to ask anouther customer. When we got our sets my waitress was very nice but there where 2 or 3 tables near us that needed bussed and never were the whole time we were there (they worn't busy ether and looked to have several workers just standing around). The food wasn't very good. When it came time to check out I got in line (only one register running with several people goofing off behind the counter manager included) they checked the person out in front of me then all walked away! I stood there for a few min. While they goofed off. Was ignored the whole time I stood there. I got tired of waiting and just handed the manager the check and money told then to keep the change and walked out. I am reporting thus location to the main office because that...
