We had the most unpleasant customer service last night. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but her hair was dyed red. It culminated in my little Filipina wife and I struggling to slide an 187 pound workbench into the back of an f150. Completely uncalled for
I'm a local business owner. I know having good employees is difficult these days. What we put up with last night was the complete opposite of customer service. She should be fired immediately.
40 minutes before to closing we enter and I ask the lady for the work bench. She said she doesn't think it's in stock and does nothing. I said, "Ok?, can you check?" ... red flag number one. She makes a ugly face and walks off. (it was odd, she was treating me bad already).. She comes back and says we have one in black but we can't sell it to you because we can't load it. I said ok that's fine I can figure it out I drove 45 minutes to pick this thing up and really need it. Again she storms off with a nasty attitude about it (red flag two) While paying for the workbench up front the other employee mentioned that they have a hydraulic lift they use to help people put them into to trucks. So we pull around back and she's standing there with the workbench on a dolly. I asked about the lift and she said yes they have one but she can't use it because there isn't two people there to operate it. I told her my wife and I could help she said no... (still in a horrible attitude about this whole thing)... I said why can't the lady upfront help us? She said someone has to be there at all times... I said ok.. You close in 20 minutes or so we'll wait until you lock the front door... she said "NO" in a real aggressive crappy attitude like I was a murderer or something. I was just using logic to try and solve this issue of loading a damned near 200 pound work bench and she was doing everything in her power to be a crappy employee about it. no help what so ever. I know what a bad employee is and she's 100% one. She said "all I'm going to do is this chest out for you all and then whatever you want to do with it you can"... There's literally a hydraulic LIFT sitting behind her and this witch treats us like were criminals. So picture my tiny wife and I tilting a 200lb work bench up to the bed of the truck and struggling to lift it. The only way we were able to was to slide it on its side and it scratched the back of it. My wife was furious.....
This is not how you treat customers lady. You're supposed to help people. We werent even there until closing. I should call corporate and sue you for my back ache this morning. Corporate will be hearing about this. I'll locate the regional manager or whtever we have to do. Ridiculous! We all have bad days but you dont be mean to customers!
Matter fact my lawyer will probably be wanting a copy of the CCTV from the back door. My back does literally...
Read moreThe value you get from Harbor Freight tools or items for the price paid is unmatched. Especially in West Virginia, it's hard to find better deals elsewhere!
*Now, sometimes you're better off spending the extra money to get something like a name brand power tool, for example. You just need to know beforehand what you'll be putting things through, stress/time-wise. But for the most part, pretty much all the tools I've bought from them have been very good quality for great prices. I love...
