On 7-29-2023 I wanted 3 containers of sour cream and noticed there were none (picture 1). I looked behind the racks and could see sour cream in the cooler on a palette. I ask an associate named Emma if there was sour cream and she immediately said no, I told her there was some in the cooler (picture 2 circled) and showed her, she bent down and looked and said "Oh, I didn't realize we got some" Emma then said " I don't think we can out until tomorrow because they just came in today". to which I replied "that makes no sense because you are already stocking shelves with items you're pulling from the back". Emma then says she will ask someone in the back, goes back there, comes back and tells me a female back there will get the items in a few minutes. I never saw anyone else and stood there waiting for about 9 mins. When I questioned Emma she tried to ignore me by walking around the store, I asked for her title and she said "store associate". I saw another lady in the store and asked her for a manager and she said "let me get Emma" when Emma came over I asked her why she said she was just a store associate, Emma then said well I am the "Shift Supervisor" and proceeds to tell me and other associates, "there is no sour cream in the back". Emma lied about the sour cream and her title/position at Aldi; Emma also failed to provide me with proper assistance by ignoring me, having me wait for items she never intended for me to have. This happens often at this location were employees don't want to get items in the back that customers can visibly see. The quality of service at this location has gone down and has forced me to shop elsewhere. IMO, Emma should be demoted, there are two other ladies at this location who provide excellent service and should be shift...
Read moreI love Aldi. I admit that, after a few disappointing visits years ago, it took me until recently to even want to shop at this discount grocer. Now, as my family’s main food shopper, a week doesn’t pass without at least one trip to my new favorite supermarket. In addition to bargain priced fresh produce, meat, canned goods, frozen food, and a selection of packaged staples, I look forward to “Aldi Finds.” These are a rotating variety of (usually) off-brand and (sometimes) brand hard goods, like tools, appliances, furniture, cooking utensils, clothing, one-time food specials (crab cakes, for instance), home electronics, and much more. Each week brings an array of new finds and discounted finds that debuted in previous weeks. The holiday shopping season brings a large supply of toys, candy, other gifts, and decorations. Did I mention that all of this is priced better than...
Read moreBe carefull! check your receipts! On January 26, there were 50% discounts on fresh cod fish and pink salmon. I bought 4 cod fish and 4 pink salmon. look at the receipt: she counted only one piece of pink salmon at a 50% discount. the rest are at full price! and it is impossible to say that she was mistaken because she counted the first thing correctly. a lot of scammers have appeared! Previously, if you were shortchanged, the store apologized and even gave away this product for free! And now there is no reaction! I wrote a complaint to the Aldi board - they answered me: “your message is very important for us”... and nothing more! They didn’t return the money, they didn’t even apologize properly. This is how they value...
