Kroger — Local services in Whitehall

I only go here because it is close to where I live. Let's start with the dirty parking lot and cars blocking front entrance. Next no shopping carts. And an employee is bringing 3 whole carts while there are at least 6 people waiting for carts. I had to go get my own. {they are not in the cart corrals but all over parking lot). They did have most items I went to buy. But, I wanted some kroger brand fat free cottage cheese. (3 for $5) which was one of the reasons I came to Krogers rather than going to Gaint Eagle. Today is March 10th and every single container was dated March 9th. I went on a "search" for an employee. I did finally find a young lady who was stocking and explained the problem to her, asking for the dairy manager. She said that dairy manager was out. She walked back with me and I showed he the cottage cheese. I then asked could she get a store manager she said sure and left to find one. She returned and told me she had been instructed to remove the outdated product. I said is the manager not comeing and she said no he wasnt. I asked her could she check a if they had any cottage cheese in back that was good. She went to check she came back and appoligized that she didn't see any. By this time I had spent over 20 minute in the dairy department and had to leave. I am disappointed that the Manager did not take the time to come to see me as a customer and try to resolve my issue. I wanna RECOGNIZE THE STORE MANGER AT THIS KROGER, cause soooo many people counted you out this Kroger is in a very diverse area a little ratchet at times but it’s always there for us😊. The first couple of days when people was going crazy for water I STROLLED into this Kroger and went to this Kroger to get a case the shelves were clean except single waters people started picking those up and the nursery water now it’s no water on the shelf. Store mgr happens down the isle saw me standing there asked was I looking for cases I said “yes I ‘am he said i’m headed to get a skid out the back hold on for a minute and come get you some. He went and got it waved me over and just like that 2 cases of water and 2 nursery gallons for the baby. He said I WILL have water at this store I won’t run out , see you next time . I WANNA GIVE HIM AND THAT STAFF THERE KUDOS THEY HAVE BEEN PLEASANT AND OPEN AND HELPFUL AND CLEANING AND HAVE NOT RUN OUT OF ANYTHING EVERY-TIME. I WENT IT WAS RESTOCKED AND WHAT WE NEEDED WAS THERE and they started stocking special meat items to have a big variety like shaved steak shaved buffalo chicken all kinds of turkey products. .No matter what HE is always visible for the public always working and helping his staff and has done a FANTASTIC JOB KEEPING YHIS KROGER STOCKED SINCE THIS VIRUS STARTED. THANK YOU CAUSE I KNOW IT WASN'T EASY I went in other stores they never had water and good stock out on quite a few things .But this Kroger WAS ON IT ... SO THANKS STORE MGR AND KROGER STAFF WE APPRECIATE YOUR DUE...

I parked in front of the buggy return yesterday. No DO NOT PARK sign no yellow lines obviously since people can’t drive anymore, after waiting for all the shoppers to slowly pack their groceries blocking the yellow lines in front of the store’s entrance. I was glad to find a space. This MOUTHY JERK YELLED,”NOOO!” I had no idea 🤷🏼 what ‘it’s’ problem was, as ‘it’ didn’t explain why ‘it’ was demeaningly admonishing me. I backed up and left. If the employees are that angry 😠 and hostile? I’m glad I never made my way inside. If someone has ever left a review, and I’d seen it...🙄 Rest assured I will never darken their lot I hope plenty of people see this and never patronize this HORRIBLE store. If ‘it’ had just told me why I couldn’t park there, I would have had no problem moving. Then going in to get many needed items. Thanks Kroger!
