Shopped her about 25 times.
Your satisfaction with the products will depend largely on what you're shopping for.
PRO's: -The home decor section is amazing. Whether you're shopping for your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom(s), or living room, they have so many unique designs & styles that you'd normally associate with high prices & fancier stores like Pier One, Hobby Lobby or Ikea. I have found some of the prettiest paintings, best bathroom sets (tons of compliments about it), & home accessories at Roses. You don't have to go to fancy stores to get 'cute and different.'
-At this store, cheap pricing doesn't necessarily = cheap product. The pricing is amazing on all products, from clothing to furniture to Lysol! The quality isn't is as bad as you'd think for such cheap pricing.
-In terms of food, electronics & clothing, they don't have a "Roses" brand. They sell real life known/good brands but just at a cheaper price. It's not like you're getting "Frosted Flakey flake." lol No, you're really getting the real thing/brand.
-It's very rare that they're out of stock on popular items. They seem to keep up with in-demand items.
-The electronics department may seem small at 1st glance, but when you really get in there good, they have tons of things. Old school movies & music albums for $2, iphone covers for $3, dvd players for $8. I mean the bargains are there!
CONS: -The clothing & home improvement/decor departments are kind of disheveled. A lot of the clothes are picked over. A lot of the decorations are not in the spot they're supposed to be. HOWEVER, the store must've been on top of this b/c they put the prices on each individual picture/product, just in case it's found in the wrong place.
-The clothing is more expensive than it should be. It's weird that I can buy a big tub of Tide for $5 but yet pay $25 for a bathrobe. The clothing department seems to have a pricing mind of its own. This is the 1 department where the clothes aren't necessarily better just b/c they're higher in price.
-The aisles are very thin, making it hard for more than 1 or 2 people to be in an aisle at a time. This especially get annoying when you're ready to checkout & realize that even the checkout space is small, which gives the illusion that waiting lines are longer than they actually are.
-This isn't 1 of those stores where the staff check on you or ask if you're finding everything alright. You'll either find them stocking merchandise, or you won't see them at all until you checkout. Sometimes it'd be nice if there were associates on standby at such a big store, but at this location, you'll have to work to find an employee other than the 1 or 2 cashiers at the front who are probably swamped with customers ready to checkout.
All in all, I'd recommend this place. The employees are nice, the store is clean, there are new & more unique products there each time I go & they will always have what you go in there for. You'll go in there for 1 thing, but come out with 10 things! Happens to every 1 of my friends I've recommended to go...

Read moreWhen I entered the store I asked cashier for calendar locations. With a smile she gave me detailed directions & told me a few left. She was even waiting on a customer! I was ready to shop now even though not Wed. I cannot come tomorrow because of Bible study noon, hair appt @ 4 pm & back to church @ 6 pm. I was there so God made it even better. I found items I had not been able to previously find in other store plus they would have been more costly !! A sweet lady not in furniture informed the man & he was reading so rather than let me stand there & wait she pulled a pile of $1.99 carpet oblong runs for me. I hugged her for her services. She thanked me & then the furniture man came & pulled more carpet pieces w/ great kindness Now.. I get to the cashier register a respectful man was very kind & professional. Each one of your employees I encountered today would do fine in sales of another establishment but I am grateful for you having the right sales persons in place. Roses really has always been a good experience but I never took time to express my thanks to them that deserve. My intention to buy one (1) dollar became a $ 36.90 purchase on a day I could hardly move...
