Belk — Local services in Whiteville

I lived in Whiteville all my life except for going to UNC Pembroke! I had good experiences shopping 🛍 😌 at the Belks in Whiteville with my mother when she was alive! The town of Cary bulldozed the Cary Mall! I miss shopping in the Belks in Whiteville! Less than a hour ago, I fortunately had the opportunity to talk to Ella, the new manager at the Belks in Whiteville! She was very nice and helpful! I told her that I was trying to locate a Napier, Hummingbird Pin as a gift for my Special cousin, Pam! She was going to see if they have it! She was going to tell the lady in cosmetics to hold it so my friend and Angel 😇, Gloria could pick up for me! I have heard postive feedback about the Whiteville store since Ella came on board as the new manager! My friend, Mrs. Doris, also an Angel 😇 said the store has more clothes and plenty of sales! She is really Excited 😊 about the improvements as well as others shopping there instead of going all the way to Wilmington, Lumberton, Shallotte etc... Unfortunately, my cellphone died after I talked to Ella being off the phone charger briefly! I have every confidence 😌 that Ella and Gloria plus the Good Lord will make my cousin, Pam's birthday 🎂 🥳 extra special since she is an Angel 😇 💖 who, always cares for the Hummingbirds when they are here! I plan to call Belks Corporate Office to Brag on Ella, the new manager! I miss Whiteville's downhome charm and friendly people! Belks Corporation needs to give Cary's citizens a new Belks! Alot of people don't want to drive to Raleigh! Instead TJ Maxx, Walmart, Nordstrom are here not the same as Belks in Whiteville! In essence 😌, I appreciate the postive communication with Ella, the new manager! I hope to encourage others to shop in the Belks in Whiteville! I will shop there also! This is one of the smaller Belks I have visited, so I expected not to see a variety of items compared to the larger stores. However, it was worse than I thought it would be 🥴. They did not have over half of the items I was looking for. I think the managers here are more focused on ordering inventory for one group of people rather than all people as far as size in clothing and the options of items offered are not very good. I had trouble finding the sizes of the clothes I wanted to buy, and there was no variety of comforter sets offered. I was looking for Biltmore Comforters. I also could not find the type of pillows I wanted to buy. I wanted a pillow that I previously purchased at the Belks in Fayetteville that supports neck and...

I love shopping at this Belk, especially for back to school. I have a really tall young man and it's hard to find tall sizes, especially in school uniform shirts. They have them and usually during back to school time they are priced better than most of your cheaper stores. Their kids clothing is excellent also. From clothes to shoes, to pocketbooks and bookbags, they have it all. Let me also add that the staff is terrific too and always ready to assist....
