Y'all just lost a long time customer, I'll take my business elsewhere for now on.

I refuse to do business with a company that is that blatantly against our constitutional rights, and refuses me the right to protect myself in the event of the unthinkable, because that person won't pay that sign any attention.

But again, being a responsible and legal gun owner, I won't be doing business with y'all anymore because that would mean I would have to leave my carry gun unattended in my vehicle and take the chance of it being stolen, while I can just go to Food Lion across the street and not have to take that chance.

I can understand not allowing open carry, but to explicitly point out regardless of conceal carry permit is over the top.

I don't typically act this harsh with a business in my small town, especially when it is small business but this I can't keep quiet about.

If the policy is changed, I'll retract my statement and return doing business with y'all.

But until then I can't take the legal chance of either entering the establishment, or leaving a fully loaded handgun unattended...

Decided to give hills another try after 7 months. Roughly same experience as last time. Bag of onions had three in it that had to be tossed right away. Bag of potatoes had 5 bad ones in it. Marinated the ribs for over 24 hours, slow cooked on the grill, they were to tough to eat. Luckily I cooked chicken and burgers as well, else the BBQ would have been bust. I ended up having to throw 95% of the ribs in the instant pot the next day to make a stew because no one could eat them. Will not be back. FWIW last time I bought a pack of Hawaiian sweet rolls which already had mold on them that I didn't notice till I got home and the 5lb bag of potatoes I bought only had 3 usable lbs. Perfect name for the store, since the quality is definitely gone down hill(s) since the the pandemic, but yet price keeps going up. I live 25 minutes from town, not worth the trouble of going back that way just to return them. My time and money is better served by heading towards Wilmington for groceries now on. Let me start off with this the food is not USDA inspected it's from Mexico it's already prepackaged so it can't be inspected understand before he gets here the vegetables about 20 days ago and it's basically field corn. I used to be a manager of one of the stores and I want to tell you they do not respect their employees they paid decent but they don't respect the employees and I guess it's the sales manager or the sales rep of those little short guys like to play golf I believe his name is Mark he's an idiot just saying. But I will say this I used to have restaurants and let you know Beach and the manager of the Shallotte location I went to him and he provided whatever I needed at a great price but I had to buy it by the case but he was a good guy the meat department in shallotte is excellent outside of that I have nothing good to say about...
