I would give them all ZERO STARS if I could. Ordered and paid for my daughter's pizza and wings online at around 7:00pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Said it would be ready in 25 minutes. My husband went to pick the food and the drive thru line was bumper to bumper. He parked to go inside to pick up the order. No one helped him. All of the door dash people were helped. At around 8:15pm, my husband said they told him the pizza was still in the oven. He asked how much longer on a personal pan pizza. A worker held her finger up at him and walked off. I was at home with our daughter and tried to call because he asked for a manager and she wouldn't go out to speak to him. All three of my calls went to a call center in Memphis, TN. My husband finally got home around 9:00pm. We'll by that time I was TICKED OFF to say the least. We had an iced coffee order ready at McDonald's so they were all watered down by the time they were picked up. (No fault of McDonald's) My husband brought the food inside. I told him that we were going back to speak to the manager. The doors were locked before 9:30pm. So, back to the drive thru we headed. As we were approaching the window, I tried calling again. I asked for the manager. She finally answered as we pulled up to the window. The manager, Shay, was SO RUDE, HATEFUL AND DISRESPECTFUL!! SCREAMING AT ME ON THE PHONE. I asked her to walk to the window. I thought we deserved a refund. Waited all that time, and got cold food plus ignored by almost every employee in there. She yanked that drive thru window opened so hard it bounced back off the bumper and slammed half way closed. ANGER ISSUES MUCH THERE PIZZA HUT WITH YOUR MANAGERS????!!!! She refused to speak to me and proceeded to look in my direction and said she'd help my husband. Ummmm ok.... guess she didn't like my attitude that matched what she was dishing out. I started recording as she walked off to get the refund. She gave me the middle finger. You best believe she didn't walk that refund back herself to that window. There was a nice young lady at the window that handed us the money and told us Shay's name. That young lady was so polite. That's manager material. I only wished I had gotten her name! Too bad I can't leave that emoji to Shay that I so badly want to post here. Pizza Hut will never have to worry about us going back there. I have always handled the pizzas being made incorrectly but the way I was treated and the lengthy wait.... THAT'S A BIG BYE BYE PIZZA HUT. THERE'S TOO MUCH COMPETITION IN THIS SMALL TOWN. I CAN TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Franco's, we'll be seeing more of yall!! Now, that's a good place to order food and they have delicious food! My daughter just happen to ask...
Read morePlaced an order in the app for this pizza hut in Whiteville NC. I chose to go through drive through to pick up. Once my order was ready I drove to drive through. The lady was polite and nice but the first thing she mentioned before anything else was that it was asking for a tip. I did not leave tip specifically because I wanted to see if they would take the time to get my order as requested which was well done for the pizza. I told her once I see my order that I could give a cash tip but I wanted to see my pizza first. She handed me my food and my pizza was not well done at all. So how can these folks request a tip when they can't even do a simple request for well done? I simply told her I couldn't leave a tip because of this exact reason. I told her I was sorry but it just isn't fair to me to leave any tip without getting the extra effort in making my pizza as requested. As we began to eat the food, I did notice that it seemed as if some of the items were really not cooked long enough either. I got cinnamon sticks as well and they seemed chewy and very pale looking. I know bread should be fluffy but this was barely there. The same theory applies to anyone running a business, if you do a good honest job that the word will spread and more business will come. Outside of the matter, it did seem nice that there is actually a place to walk in and sit down at a Pizza Hut nowadays to eat with family...
Read morePIZZA HUT - WHITEVILLE, NC. I rarely write ONE STAR reviews but I feel it's necessary tonight. I placed an order & went through the pick-up window. I asked the young lady if my wings & ranch were in the bag. She said YES. I got home & they were NOT in the bag. I called & asked them to just refund the money to my card. They put a lady on the phone who said she was a Manager. I explained the situation to her. During our conversation, she proceeded to call me 'baby' in what felt like a condescending tone. Very unprofessional (especially in a situation where the customer is being cheated/mistreated). I asked her to stop calling me 'baby' and then she refused to refund my money. She said she would give me a $10 in-store credit, good for 30 days. I rarely ever eat at Pizza Hut and shouldn't be put on a "time limit" due to their mistake. I declined the $10 in-store credit and once again she refused to refund my money to my card. She said "Pizza Hut can't put money back on a card." SMH. (Everywhere else can, even gas stations, so I find that hard to believe.) To wrap up this long post, she said I'll have to deal with "someone from corporate" to "see if they #might be able to refund the money." SO FRUSTRATING. Two thumbs way down. PS - To make matters worse, the food I did get was not good. (ex: No cheese on the "cheese sticks" and...
