HALLELUJAH!!! They have changed the staff!
The last time I came here was over a year ago and I swore Iâd NEVER be back (yes it was that bad). When you place an order in the app and specifically say itâs to be made immediatelyâŠthen you go inside and sit in the dining room looking straight at the staff (and they continue to look at you), for OVER an hour, wondering why itâs taking so long to make 24 tacos đ€Ż. Yes thereâs a problem here. To top it off the manager said that I could NOT get my money back because I placed the order online and he didnât know how do that. đĄ really? The manager himself doesnât know how to give a refund or a good reason why they kept looking at me sitting there watching them but didnât bother to make my order OR ask me about my order. YES THEY NEEDED A STAFF CHANGE!
TODAY: TOTALLY different opposite experience. The ladies were so thoughtful and nice about everything. The woman making my hard shell tacos actually threw out the ones already broken. đ„° I thanked her in person, but wanted to say again, THANK YOU for taking that split second and being thoughtful in doing that. Little things like that mean a lot to me. Itâs a simple thing to do, and it doesnât cost anything, but it makes a world of difference when youâre driving and trying to eat at the same time. Also, the same woman saw I was struggling with the boxes I had and offered me big plastic bags for easier toting. THANK YOU SWEET! I didnât drop my entire order going in my house because of your thoughtfulness. My order was made hot, fresh, CORRECTLY (which this store has struggled with in the past), and a staff member also offered to help me carry my order to my truck. đ„°đ. The restaurant was clean and there was a couple of teenagers that were being extremely loud and disruptive and they didnât hesitate in asking them to be quieter for other customers. THANK YOU!!!!

   Read moreI feel terrible about giving Taco Bell in Whiteville, NC only 10 Star. I did so only because there wasn't as lesser way to rate them. This was the 1st time I'd stopped there in more than a Year. Because a Year ago. They messed my Large Order up so bad, and living 20 miles away. That I said I never go back. And I only did today because my Daughter ask me to bring her something from there. I hate drive through's. As Joe Pesci once said in the Movie Lethal Weapon, "you ALWAYS get screwed at the drive through". So, I walked in Taco Bell to place my order. (6-27-2022), 7:00pm. I wish I'd had the Owners phone #. After being a Supervisor/Manager with 4 Big Companies over a 35 year period. I know a few things about how Businesses should be run. This one should be shut down! I waited over 25 minutes in the store to get my order. Then, had to remind them of the items they forgot. Then get home. And if course the order is wrong and the Tacos we're made wrong because they were training new people. But the Manager wasn't training... The Employee's we're trying to figure it out their selves. And while there. 3 Customs from the Drive through came back in with wrong orders. And you don't want me to tell you the condition of the Kitchen... Let's just say the Board of Health Inspector's should be...
   Read moreOrdered online and when I arrived at restaurant they hadn't even started cooking it. Said the computers were slow and didn't send in those orders right away but come to find out it was on a different screen that they didn't even look at. Thought ordering off line from a fast food place would be quicker but nope, not with this restaurant. Took an hour or maybe 45mins for me to receive my food. The restaurant smelled horrible when I walked in. So bad I almost had to walk outside because I started gagging. Staff seemed to be on vacation or at home. One employee was texting on her cellphone behind the counter. One employee was walking around behind the counter eating food. Another employee was sitting down at the table in dining area. And one more was standing around complaining and whining about clocking out for their break or to go home instead of helping to fix my order, which the main guy was trying to tell him: as soon as my order was finished he could clock out. Was very disappointed and dissatisfied and doubt I'll be going back any time soon! Get it together Whiteville Taco Bell or just like the last one that was here you might get...
