July 2025 review: I’m only giving one star because it’s the least I can give

BUYER BEWARE if you don’t mind getting cheated

My MIL bought peas there; the shelled peas she purchased had the end of the peas included for snaps that were not edible. The unshelled peas she bought were called a “bushel,” but the bag was half full, and part of them were dried up and full of trash.

some were eaten by bugs and unable to be shelled. She noticed she had one 5 Gallon bucket of shells that were supposed to be a bushel which means it wasn’t an entire bushel. Anyone who knows about bushels knows you should get TWO 5 gallon buckets to equate a bushel.

After throwing away the dirty and inedible peas, she ended up with only two quarts of shelled peas which equates to $19 per quart. She reached out to the owner and she argued with her rather than make it right. Buyers beware; my MIL said if she’d raised her own peas that looked like that, then she would have thrown them away.

This is the second time I have pulled up to walk in the purchase an item I saw and was rudely greeted at the door as she was locking it at 450pm and walked away! I then pulled out my phone and called and started to leave a message about not closing until 5pm and the very rude woman picked up the phone and proceeded to tell me I did not have enoughtime to browse her store! I then told her that I would be leavinga reviewand she said good and hung up on me! Some of us good Christian people have to work also and it has been very disheartening the way I have been treated on two occasions, I will never return to this establishment until they have respectablee eployees that treat their buying customer with respect! So buyers and browsers please beware in shopping this establishment if they don't feel you have time to browse their hours are posted on the door...

Wouldn't go back here. Went for the first time and the people checking out were not friendly. I never received a receipt and was told on phone if you want a detailed one you have to ask. They wont just give it to you. Got home and was missing an item. They told me it was put in 1 bag which was way to small for item to fit. Then they switched it up and said it was in a black bag. I hope they enjoy stealing people's money. Being that i don't live close I can't just drive 5 minutes to get there. Pay close attention and ask for a detailed receipt. Definitely not where you...
