So decided to do click list because there is a pandemic going on. We had a pick up time between 5-6 pm. I am typically not the one to complain about anything. Well my husband went to go pick up the groceries with our 2 year and 5 month old and when he got there, they were backed up at least 20 + cars waiting to get into a click list spot. That wasn’t a big deal at all, we just figured they were short staffed. Then he proceeded to wait in the long for an hour for a spot all for them to say “oh sorry we never pulled your order today, you can pick them up tomorrow.” After we had watch the click list employees slinging tubs all around and throwing them because they were mad. So naturally my husband was annoyed at that fact that they didn’t go around to other cars and ask for names to see if they even pulled their order. Well, my husband called and spoke to the manager and said we will give the groceries for FREE. I was in shock. I thought how kind of them, so naturally I took the money that was only TEMPORARILY refunded and spent it in Kroger again only to have them still charge me for the first set of groceries and overdrawing our account and taking 246.00 of our bill money just so we wouldn’t get anymore overdraft fees. So here I am trying to call them to get the money back and they pushed us off on customer care who is acting like we are lying. I’m so frustrated. Read moreI’ve had issues with various Kroger locations for years, but this one absolutely takes the cake when it comes to the worst Kroger experiences I’ve ever had. All but one of the employees in the pharmacy are rude and have an attitude any time I try to fill a prescription, and the wait times are ridiculous and inaccurate. Every time I go in this store I find multiple items that have been expired by several months to even years, and nothing is ever done about it when I bring it to their attention. I stopped placing delivery orders because all the produce they would deliver would be rotten, but after seeing a coupon last week that made it seem worth a shot, I placed a delivery order. 80% of the produce was so rotten it was dripping brown juice all over everything else in the order, and customer service still tried to argue and give me store credit instead of a refund for the items that literally had to go directly in the trash. Oh, and conveniently they cancelled enough items in my order to invalidate the coupon that convinced me to try delivery again in the first place. Woke up this morning, six days after placing the order, to find I had been charged for it a second time, resulting in an overdraft on my bank account, and of course there’s “nothing they can do”. Read moreI have been shopping at this Kroger location for over 20 years. I gotta say, it feels like a second home. I’ve come to know much of the staff (who are wonderful) and although it is a smaller or average size store compared to the huge Marketplace locations that have popped up in the surrounding area, you cannot beat the comfort level of it not being crazy busy where the checkout lines are so long that they extend down the drink and clothing section aisles (which was my experience yesterday at the Kroger Marketplace located in Dent, Ohio on Harrison Avenue. I ran in to grab Gatorade and milk and waited 12 minutes JUST IN THE SELF CHECKOUT LINES!!). The only major drawback about our little Cleves Kroger is that at times (especially with regard to Digital deal items), is that they often run out of that sale item very quickly and it does not get replaced in a timely manner for everyone to be able to benefit from sale items. Obviously, this is positive feedback for the stores managers to look into and work on. The availability of the product to be brought out as well as do they even have more in the back that can be stocked . Often, I have asked if there was more of a particular item in the back and the answer was no. So I would encourage management to look at their orders especially on digital deals so that there is a backup supply to be stocked on shelves once they empty.
