We had been happy with our dogās care, and our dogs like going, but today we had a horrendous experience, and after the response my husband got from Michelle, I have concluded that she does not really care about the precious dogs she grooms. We took both our dogs in for grooming, we go at least every six weeks. My 11 year old Cavalier was perfectly healthy when she was dropped off, but when my husband picked her up, he was told that her eye was weeping so they put some drops in it, āI must have blown some hair into her eye and it got irritated.ā By the time he got her home, she was in horrible condition, shaking and could not open her extremely red eye. We rushed her to our vet, who had to stain her eye and give her several eye tests. She has a large, superficial corneal ulcer/abrasion/scratch on her eye. She is now on two eye medications and pain medication and wearing a cone. We are praying it will completely heal, and not become worse. I wouldnāt be writing this but when my husband called to let Michelle know, she just said, we donāt use scissors or shavers on the face so I have no idea how this happened. Not I hope sheās okay, Iām sorry this happened, just cold. My dog is a Cavalier with big fluffy ears, that every groomer we have had uses scissors to groom and a shaver to shave the inside of the ear. Itās not her face, but with a Cavalierās big eyes the ears are very close. I will always take a picture of my dog when I leave them anywhere from now on. Hard...

I thought I may have to learn to cut my pups hair myself, but luckily a lady from puppy class recommended the Dogg Lounge. She mentioned her dog was also overly stressed at other places. I gave it a try and my pup is happy when I pick her up. The setup there is kennel free for friendly dogs, they get to roam around a cute "doggy lounge" while they wait. They can see other dogs getting groomed, which I believe helps the dogs get over fears of the clipper sounds, etc. Haircuts are always on point. They confirm your preference on...

It is our forever...
