Blackjack Pizzeria — Restaurant in La Habra

We came here due to it's high rating and the pictures looked great! But it's a different story when you bite into the pizza in real person.

We came here and we felt like we were at the old school shakey's which is cool! They serve beer for those folks that like beer and pizza, my favorite part was the dodgers game haha

I was so surprised how clean it was which is a big plus but the climax is the pizza and we got half pepperoni, pineapple & mushroom with tomato. The crust was properly cooked with no burnt edges and it didn't have excess flour at the bottom. The tomato sauce was very salty but the cheese wasn't greasy and when you bite into the pizza it taste almost like Pizza Hut! The sauce taste very tangy and salty like Pizza Hut, the cheese and pepperoni were the ingredients that set it apart from Pizza Hut.

In my opinion, this is the best pizza place. The dough is amazing, and the toppings are great—truly one of the best examples of American-style pizza. I loved dining in with family and friends, so it’s a shame they only do takeout now. I really hope they reopen for dine-in someday!

It's a very delicious and fresh pizza restaurant, but sometimes the dough is too burnt and tastes like the old days.. Don't burn the dough too much and pay attention to temperature control. Wow where do I begin we really like Blackjack pizza , but for Super Bowl Sunday it was a Disaster I ordered two pizzas 🍕 a jumbo and a large Pizza , I called them in early a day before to put my order in and unfortunately they were not ready infact they weren't Evan made yet so we had to wait. The second thing was that when we arrived home and we were serving it , The dough was still raw.
