I just want to say that the guys at Super Car Guys -West are great! This review is based on 2 different days and lots of sass(on my part) đ I recently NEEDED to buy a new car as my daily commute is 120 miles/ day and I was driving an old pick up.. It was killing me financially. Anywho.. I set up an appointment with Karina (who was very accommodating, efficient and professional). When we got to the dealership we were greeted by James right away, who was also very friendly and professional! Jonathan was my salesman, he is fairly new to âthe bizâ but he was knowledgable and asked a bunch of questions to figure out which vehicles would work for me! There was no pressure, no up selling.. He just tried to find me the best option! We test drove a couple and was feeling desperate because it was getting late in the days so I settled for something that I didn't really want.. This is where this first day takes a turn⊠I signed papers on a car that I didn't love and expected to leave with my new car but due to insurance issues, at 930 pm I was told that I could not take my new car home that night. I was pretty upset because if they would have told me sooner I could have tried to make it all happen. The finance manager got lots of my sass when he came at me with a $733/ month payment.. Because that's just disrespectful lol.. Anyway, by the end of that evening, I left there with no car. I was frustrated to say the least and felt very uneasy about the whole situation. I let Jonathan know the next day that I was not going to be purchasing that vehicle because I just didn't feel like it was the best fit. Fast forward 4 days, I ended up back at SCG West with a down payment. I was able to express my thoughts about the previous visit to the store manager Bob, who seemed very compassionate and seemed to really want to help. I then had to apologize to the finance guy for being a jerk.. đ but that's ok, he took it like a champ and we shook hands in the end..The car I bought(but didn't really want) was being sold, so we had to start all over. Apparently their cars sell faster than girl scout cookies in front of Walmart.. Jonathan was quick, efficient, professional and communicated everything very well! Then James came back around and genuinely asked how I was, I explained that life was lifeing me really hard at the moment. And this guy asked if he could give me a hugâŠđ„č (which I was grateful to accept) This visit was definitely much more comfortable. And felt like there was nothing being left out! Anyway, back to the action.., We found the perfect car at another location, so Jonathan and I went for a test drive! I loved the car and made a new friend! Jonathan was personable, respectful and even bought me my favorite refresher drink Dunkin! I tried to buy but he insisted đ we got back to the store, finalized everything and I was blessed to buy 2020 Nissan Altima! Jonathan filled up the gas tank and even washed and dried it so I wasn't showing off a filthy new whip! When I was about to leave James (see above) came out to congratulate me and asked about my experience, which I explained myself and told him If I could make a suggestion, Iâd say, Bob needs an assistant. While I was there both days there were at least 4- 7 people buying cars and Bob is solely responsible for making the deal (finance wise)and with going back and forth with several lenders for multiple customers and insurance and all that on top of tons of interruptions.. That has to take a toll on Bob, but it slows the process down quite a bit, also it seems to make things more confusing.. Which greatly affects the level of satisfaction for most people! All and all, I am very happy with my new car and very appreciative of the level of exceptional customer service, kindness, compassion and professionalism that each of the guys that helped me showed! Thank you all for your help! I'll definitely recommend Jonathan, James, or Bob at Super Car Guys -West to anyone looking for a...
Read moreOn July 26th, I got into a car accident that wasn't my fault and my car got totaled out. I had owed more than the insurance paid out so I had little to no money to put down on a new car. I was scared that I would end up driving a worse car than I had previously owned. Little did I know, the car dealership that I bought my first car at had totally ripped me off with an interest rate of 28% because my credit wasn't up to their liking. Because me and my son's father didn't have the best credit in the world due to school loans and lack of revolving credit, I decided to give Super Car Guys a shot. We had set up an appointment to meet with Cary on a Saturday and had gone out to lunch before. We had picked out a car that we thought we could get, but didn't really love. 10 minutes before our appointment with Cary, I decided to look one more time at my price range of cars and found a 2006 Chrysler 300. It was a little bit pricier than the car we had picked out previously, but we thought we would at least try to ask for it because it was my boyfriend's dream car and way nicer than the car we previously had. When we got to the westside location, Kelvyn Johnson greeted us in the parking lot and welcomed us into their business. He was very friendly, outgoing, and so easy to get along with. We told them what car we were looking at and they told us they were going to get us in that car. Kelvyn and Cary hunted down the car for us and drove us to it at their other location. We drove the car back and filled out the initial paperwork after agreeing to a price per month that was only $40 above the car payments we were making. The $40 above was made up for by the fact that our loan percentage turned into 4% and our loan length dropped from 6 years to 4 years. I was amazed because at the previous dealership we had bought from, the lowest interest rate they could get was 28% because of our credit. We were being ripped off for a car that wasn't even worth it. I am glad we got to start over brand new with Super Car Guys. They let us leave with our car on Saturday because they were so confident that they would find a loan for us. When we came back on that following Thursday, Joe Herrman helped us get all of our bank papers signed quickly so we could get on our way home. They really fought for us to get a fair loan and went great strides to work with the bank to make it possible. So far, this has been my best car buying experience ever and I hope to return to them in a few years to buy another car for our family so we can have two. I never imagined we would be in our dream car! I thought for sure we would've been out of luck and stuck in a cheap mess. And I just have to mention we paid $0 down. I definitely recommend car buying from...
Read moreI will start this post off with saying I donât have best credit. And I also used a co-signer. I also donât know much about cars. I bought a 2022 Nissan Kicks from them in December of 2023. I have replaced the alternator and 3 batteries in the first few months of having the car. I have been to 2 different locations seeking them to either take the car back or help me do something since they sold me a crap car. 2022 I bought in 2023 should not have this many issues. The check engine light went off again today. Nice people when theyâre willing to work with you but refuse to help resolve the real issues. They have me in a car thatâs worth 13,000 or less and my loan is for 25,000. My step mom agreed to be a co signer not the main borrower. And come to find out they made her the main borrower. And when I asked them about it this last time they said sometimes they have to work it a little to make the loan go through. Now I have negative equity due to them putting me in a car not worth the loan. I did defer the loan twice but that shouldnât have made me have negative equity. I would highly not recommend buying from them eventhough Iâve been back 3 times and trying to resolve the issue I am having. When I stated the car has ton of issues they said I could use my warranty and take it anywhere I wanted too to fix it since when I did call their service department a few times I was told there wasnât anything they could do or they tried to sell me a cheaper battery with lower voltage that wouldnât even work for the car. Like I said 2022 car with low miles 69,000 when I bought it. Bought December 2023 should not have that many issues year or two old. I am seeking out legal advice on how to get this whole ordeal worked out and also fix the issues with my co signer being told she was the co signer not the main borrower. She never agreed to be the main borrower only the co-signer. Like they said 33,000 miles in what year and half or so is quite a bit to put on a car but the car also sat for while the first few months trying to sort out what was wrong with it and having it towed back to town multiple times. Did a lot of those miles traveling back to a store that kept promising to solve the issue. So if they canât fix my issues Iâm having and resolve it. When I went back this last time after being told that theyâd be able to fix the issue they asked for $9000 down payment when they were trying to fix the negative equity of the car that they first put me in. Made trips to Wichita several times because they tell me they can help me fix the issue and never can. Do not do business with...
