Hog Wild Pit Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Wichita

My favorite BBQ place, and also the most likely to screw up your order out of ALL the food establishments on West St. I think they need to reprogram the robots that work on the make table. I order the same thing every time.. loaded baked potato with double brisket, hold the sour cream and chives. Sometimes it seems like I don't get very much meat, sometimes it will have sour cream and/or chives. This time it had sour cream and no butter, like the robot that makes my food can't tell the difference. This is not an isolated incident, they have done this to me 4 out of the last 5 times I hit their drive thru. Next time I plan to go in and order, so I can check my order before I leave. And I'm gonna pay cash, it makes getting a refund easier, I dont eat anywhere if I need to call out the kitchen robots for screwing up my order. The food is great. I'm disappointed that an employee had such an attitude. I ordered my potato and the friendly guy at the register said there would be a 10-15 min wait. That was fine. I paid and got my drink and then thought...I'll get a coleslaw until my order is ready. I hadn't eaten lunch at work and was hungry. I paid for the slaw and went to the pu window and asked for my slaw. (I thought they were already in the cups). I was getting ready to apologize for making more work for the guy when he turned to another employee and shook his head several times and handed me the slaw. I said..is there a problem? What's up Hog Wild?? Out of salad at 6pm on a Friday night. That is very poor planning. Send someone down to the grocery store to pick some up. I've noticed a stark difference in quality product and service at each of your locations. The location near 47th and Broadway has the best product and great service with friendly employees. The West Street location is quite the opposite. Do any of the West Street employees know how to be friendly? I gotta tell you, I eat salad topped w meat from Hog Wild a couple of times a week.
