This was by far the worst wild game processing experience I’ve ever had. The operation is extremely disorganized. I dropped off my skinned and quartered cow elk on October 17, 2024, and didn’t get it back until January 23, 2025—99 days later! While their paperwork states they can’t guarantee turnaround times, the older gentleman who initially helped us assured me it would be a “quick turnaround.”

When I picked up my game, I noticed several packages labeled “deer,” which raised serious concerns about whether I actually received the elk I brought in. Processing should not take 99 days—most processors take 3-4 weeks at most.

To make matters worse, they took it upon themselves to make over 720 snack sticks (120 packs) without my approval, adding an additional $540 to my total. Despite having my contact information and multiple opportunities to notify me, they never communicated this. I refused the snack sticks, and they plan to resell them for their own profit, using my game for financial gain without my consent. This behavior is unethical and unacceptable.

Their lack of experience with wild game should have been disclosed upfront. If you value your game and want ethical, efficient service, avoid this place...

Took in a Bull Elk October 17th 2024, I was told the processing fee would be $500 so I left a $250 deposit when I dropped off my elk. I didn’t get my meat back until January 23, 2025 This was after several calls trying to get an update. When I showed up to collect my stuff they were trying to charge me an additional $760 on top of my $250 deposit That being said I did NOT get everything back. very unorganized, the old lady at the Front Desk is more than Rude. I will Never take anything back to Stagecoach Meats...

Wonderful place! Went here on March 20th to stock up on various meats for our state wide holiday "Meat In" day. Service was fast and very friendly, even though we were there right before closing. As of writing this review we have been able to try their bratwurst and ribeyes and let me tell you!
