Located in down town Wiggins, this is one of two Mexican restaurants available. For the location I would say this probably deserves a 4 star. However as someone who travels all over the state daily it does not quite match up on taste.
Location: Restaurant is easily located and plenty of parking was available. It does appear to get busy during lunch and dinner hours but has no issue finding a place to park.
Inside: The restaurant was clean and easy to find a table. staff was welcoming and responsive.
Food time: From the time I ordered my food until I received it was 5 minutes. Staff was friendly and food was received hot.
Menu: A vast selection of options and combinations are available. I provided photo's of the menu as it appears nobody else has yet to do this.
Food: I tasted each item individually prior to eating the meal. The re fried beans when teamed up with an item (taco, tostada, etc.) worked well and did not over power. On its own though it was bland.
The rice while not the way i prefer it (Soft and fluffy) had a mild flavor. There were some parts that were hard and crunchy.
The guacamole was very good and I enjoyed it allot. Note however, that to get a side order is almost 7 dollars.
The taco (ground beef) and the Tostada (ground Beef) were enjoyable. I was most disappointed with the tamale and the green chili. both of which did not work for me for flavor or texture.
Overall: For the location this restaurant would have received a 4 star. Finding excellent Mexican food in Morgan country is difficult at best. There is also the possibility that the food I got was not considered there signature dishes. I did not try the fajitas (assuming based on the name of the restaurant) to which is its name sake may have better results. I often judge a Mexican restaurant on its green chili however and it was...
Read moreI love the food and the service. I can tell this is a family business and they work hard. Only thing is occasionally service takes a while usually cause there’s only 1 server (don’t get me wrong she was running her butt off and was busy) Also had issues with not being able to run a credit card in the past. Had we not had cash we wouldn’t have been able to pay for our meal and we had no idea about the issue to run a credit card until we had to pay. All in all though I...
Read moreA local favorite, Fajitas is home to some of the best Mexican food I've had in Northeast Colorado. The people are always so nice and helpful when they serve you, and anything with chicken is absolutely amazing! If you're ever in the area or just passing through, I highly recommend taking the time to go here and sit down to a...
