The Godspeed may be the smaller of the Jamestown Settlement ships, but it’s just as impressive and full of history. It's amazing how much is packed into such a compact vessel, and it really gives you perspective on the conditions the early colonists endured during their transatlantic journey.
The ship is beautifully maintained, and the attention to historical accuracy is clear in every detail. You can explore different parts of the deck and peek into the cramped living spaces where passengers and crew would have spent months at sea. It’s hard to imagine how they managed such a long voyage in such tight quarters!
