I'm not sure if I want to risk the cost of driving 50 Miles one way with a rental trailer if I have to go home empty to wait for them to pull merchandise from another building?? To come back another day and pay to rent another trailer!! I have been in A few Habitat for Humanitys and never saw anything like this!!! Unless you live local its a gamble going here unless the cost of fuel and your time means nothing!?!? I think I'm going to the one in NYS. I decided to go anyway when we arrived the some of Volunteer staff seemed like they didn't want to be there one said in a snotty tone "you know we are volunteers" that's great I was also Volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity in Oconee County South Carolina!! And the place was spotless the staff sorry Volunteers were very friendly!!! If I didn't need the desks so bad I would have waited to find them at another location! Some prices were a little high!!! A lot higher than what I have seen for similar items at other locations! It seems the charitys in the area are way too profit drivin! Even being a Non Profit! They are just exempt for certain obligations a for profit...
Read moreI purchased an arm chair from this location about three weeks ago. About a week later, i went into the store and asked if I could return the item, as I couldn’t find a way to move it.

I said to the clerk, “just consider the cost of the chair a donation to HFH.” About a week later, the manager from the store calls me and in a firm and certain way says there are no returns and I must get the chair right away or they were bringing it to me. I hesitated again, but felt so much pressure and bullying from this woman that I had a friend bring the chair to my house.
I actually tried to donate the money to HBH rather than take the chair, so it seems so ridiculous that the manager would give me such push back, rather than go along with what the employees had told me in the...
Read moreThis place is fantastic! Currently it seems to be getting even better. If I have a project going on I always stop here first for supplies. I would say two times out of three they have a needed item or two. I also stop here whenever I am close because you never know what gems may be hiding on these shelves. I have purchased lights and sinks and carpets and more here and the prices are always fair, if not better than fair, and the staff and volunteers are super friendly and very helpful. And on top of all that they even give my dogs treats. What more could you ask...
